I am not so sure about this. Fighting would necessarilly involve touching the opposing member of the lower caste with one's bare hands. And we all know how filthy those little buggers can be. Any well-bred person would be physically revulsed by the mere idea of grappling with one of those people who smell of cigarettes, sweat and domestic beer. Unless of course the great unwashed are struck dumb(er) and defenseless by the majesty of the ruling class.

I've usually seen these yuppie wannabe names given to the lower to mid middle class.
But they should still be beaten.

I hope I never describe one of my friends as "pithy".

And that, my friends, is saying something.
(I openly admit that SD does throw out some gems from time to time, but you've gotta read a whole lotta dreck to unearth them.)

here are my thoughts on today's posts (note: I include them only because I know that Penske has been on pins and needles, wondering where the object of his hearting could be and what her thoughts are on Carolyn Bessette... others may skip this post):
1. Carolyn = 7.0, and I disagree with the poster who claimed she was sleeping through life, but maybe a refresher on the effects of various drugs is in order to confirm
2. Angelina during Billy Bob phase = trashy 8.5, Angelina today = 10
3. it is a travesty that rp posted pictures regarding the overuse of plastic surgery and did not include the Jacko before and after
4. fringey, I thought I told you that all vacation discussions are to be redirected to the Vacations board. this includes discussions of vacation sex. please keep up.
5. Most annoying commercials still are (and likely always will be) the Herbal Essences ones. and I am a fan of orgasms in the shower! shampoo has never done it for me though... [I've never seen a Basedow spot, so I reserve the right to change my mind, but at this point I would likely just find them funny]
Carry on.

the same could be said for The Daintiest Petunia, but history shows us that the board is poorer without the rare gems.
OTOH it is richer without the dreck.
On the third hand, ironically, PLF has returned to provide the dreck. And the gems.
I'm left feeling ambiguous on the whole state of affairs.
Carry on.

I curse you and the witchy spell that you've cast upon my heart.
OTOH I'm powerless to resist.
Oh the humanity.

I wouldn't heart her with her old avatar, but it is hard (hehehe)not to heart someone with a Jennifer Anniston avatar (especially in Office Space). If she switched her avatar to a young Hillary, I am sure that the spell on you would be broken (OTOH, a switch to Audrey Tautou, and I would heart her too).

Spurn not the nobly born

Hey, we peers need hot peasant lovin' too. In the immortal words of Gilbert and Sullivan:
"Spurn not the nobly born
With love affected,
Nor treat with virtuous scorn
The well-connected.
High rank involves no shame--
We boast an equal claim
With him of humble name
To be respected!
Blue blood! blue blood!
When virtuous love is sought
Thy power is naught,
Though dating from the Flood,
Blue blood! Ah, blue blood!
CHORUS
When virtuous love is sought,
Thy power is naught,
Though dating from the Flood,
Blue blood! Ah, blue blood!
TOLLOLER
Spare us the bitter pain
Of stern denials,
Nor with low-born disdain
Augment our trials.
Hearts just as pure and fair
May beat in Belgrave Square
As in the lowly air
Of Seven Dials!
Blue blood! blue blood!
Of what avail art thou
To serve us now?
Though dating from the Flood,
Blue blood! Ah, blue blood!"
CDF (but replace "Seven Dials" with "Jamaica," and look out...Greenwich types have a limit)

Depends....are you referencing a young Hillary Clinton or the lovely young Hillary Duff?
FWIW, I asked the Hillary Duff Pictures Cube ( http://www.tvdance.com/hillary-duff/hillary-duff-cube/ ) if you referring to "Hillary Duff" and the answer was Yes Definitely.
Indeed.
