What do you put on the top of this cake?

Thus far I'm planning on "Summit or Bust--Best Wishes [Mr. Lunchbox collector]" but that's pretty lame...any clever ideas?
"Hope they don't find you hanging upside down from a rope, blackened and frozen, like they found photojournalist Bruce Herrod after he'd been there a few years." How big is the cake?

Seafoam candy would be more representative.

I knew a GP who was on the climb where all the people died. He and several others were 200 yards from the summit but knew they had to turn and go back. People who didn't turn were the ones who died. Can you imagine going through all that crap and having to turn 200 yards away. 200 yards was still several hours of climbing, but still to be that close.

He told of going to climb the highest mountain in Antartica. One must take a snowmobile for a week across tundra to get there, then up and down is a week, then snowmobile back for a week.

His friend had done it, and a blizzard had come up during the trip to the mountain and they had to stay in their tents for a week. He heard this story and yet he still wanted to go climb the mountain- what the fuck is wrong with people?

Mom's days are numbered.

Seven-year-old dog Balu is the surrogate mother for three Siberian tiger cubs whose mother refused to nurse them at the zoo in Shanghai, China. She has also nursed 12 other tiger cubs in the past five years.

Surely you could have come up with something using "Norgay."

AI (where is tmdiva?)

Is this show on every fucking day or what?

Anyway,. here are my thoughts on what stuck.

That little blond russian dude- he can take a seventies band's cheesy eighties classic and turn it into a Celine Dion song? He has to go, immeditaely, if not sooner.

Anwar- I wasn't impressed last night. Though I like the way he looks. He is kind of soothing looking, if thats possible. He was okay, it sounded like karaoke, as did most of the stuff last night.

Constantine- I have added Steve Perry to his mix of Chris Robinson and Andre Agassi, but he is still adorable. Nevertheless, he sucked. He should never take on a song that Chris Robinson perfected. Just looks like a pretender to the throne.

Bo Bice- he is my main man. My runaway favorite. He answered the question, "Are the contestants forced to sing lite FM or is that by choice?" The Allmans on AI? Dude, call Sebby, this shit just got good. And he was GREAT. Better than Gregg (after too much bottle). I watched it three times. He was the only one who sounded original (thoughthat might have been a function of avoiding the Al Green or Celine Dion formula). I was so inspired I voted for him and I didnt think I was gonna vote until barely announced her love for the scrawny russian kid and she and I locked horns.

Damn! I was in the middle of a Norgay joke when I saw this.

Everest has become so commerical I no longer want to do it. As long as you have enough money, it aint that hard.

I think the Norgay thing could be a play on the post office slogan.

What is a good non-commercial alternative to Everest then?

Oh, God, yes. We're talking about a totally outrageous paradigm.

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.
