I think they're talking about 2042, but the date really depends on a bunch of economic assumptions, so it's not like anyone knows. Notably, that date keeps moving backwards:
Meanwhile, Republicans in government don't seem to mind the massive deficits they're running
now, so one should be properly skeptical of the idea that we need to do something pronto about the threat of massive deficits four decades from now.
