Order of magnitude means add a zero to the end. 8 billion rounds to 10 billion. If there were 106 billion people ever, then there are 40-60 billion mothers ever. 10 and 40-60 are of the same magnitude.

By the way, I know how and when to use the subjonctif and the conditionel and the imparfait in french, but I have no idea of the english equivalents.
Still . . . I wish I was a little bit taller, I wish I was a baller. I wish I had a girl who looked good; I would call her. I wish I had a rabbit and a hat and 64 Impala.

Thank you. Although it seems a bit like cheating to round when using orders of magnitude.

Death to Hetherington.

It's arguable.
But I will note that hank failed to account for spinsters and slutiests. They mean that there's not a 1:1 relationship between women and mothers.

I just figured 2-3 kids per mom. spinsters still had moms.

Sad story
The closest thing I had to a mentor was this guy who is now in his 70s. He had kids late, so his oldest is only 35. The guy is the nicest and classiest lawyer I ever worked with. We are pretty close to him and his wife, but only see them maybe once a year now- it was two firms ago that I worked with him.
I just learned his oldest son went missing from a boat in Lake Huron almost 2 months ago. The kid and his fiancee were in a boat heading to Mackinac Island, The boat was found empty, with equipment running and the engine idling. The waters had not been rough.
They found the girl, drowned, but never found the guy. They've given up the search.
How fucked is that? Their only hope for him to be alive is if he killed her and ran off.
They are pretty serious Catholics, so the no body to bury thing is tough.
And I can't decide what to do/send or when. At some point they will have some type service I'm sure, but till then what? send a card saying "we're hoping it turns out okay?" But there's no realistic hope.
A condolences card? Not yet.
But I want to send something.

Look at him staring forlornly at the rim, wishing he was a little bit taller and wishing he was a baller.
I'm not sure how one can say this about a song that was released in the early (mid?) 1990s, but it must be an age thing.

I just think it's amazing how upbeat you have remained through these truly difficult times. Well done.

Write them a note, indicating your deep sadness and sympathy for this very trying situation they are going through. Offer that you are available to help them in any way they'd like. Then call them to see how they are doing.
