But unlike much of the press, I don't think it's really a cover-up or anything -- I just think it's a communications fuck-up.

What the hell does Cheney do, anyway? It seems like VPs are exactly the people to come up with canned statements of sympathy for families and shit like that.
I hear you, but I’m not sure they give a damn as much anymore. I think they’re in “fuck it, they hate us anyway, so lets do as we like” land now.

Meeeeeh, not sure I'm with you on that, but I do think (and suspect you agree) that the media is fucking up by giving it this much coverage. It's just annoying and boring, and I want real news. It's not like the injured guy is a public figure.

By definition, Christians are crazy. They believe in something without evidence. And, they wallow in it. "Faith" means "Belief that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence." http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=faith . That is essentially the same as "crazy" - "marked by foolish or unreasoning fondness." Id. If it were not for the amount of Christians, i.e. if there was only one of the stupid fuckers, s/he would be committed.
"Foolish or unreasoning fondness"? Is that an English-language dictionary?

Every time I hear the phrase "softer side" that old line from Sears runs through my head -- "Come see the softer side of Sears."

purely on the surface, Cheney looks Sears-y to me. Nondescript and old-fashioned.

If you think what Sebby said was "on the border of being offensive", then you must think what Less said most certainly crossed the border. Aren't you going to ask Less "to cut it out"?

On the other hand, isn't asking someone to stop saying something because it is offensive a little absurd on an anonymous political discussion board?

Wouldn't the Lesbian daughter recommend he skip the shole suit and wear a lumberjack shirt?

Since Sebby posts with a certain flair for hyperbole and rhetorical excess, I think it's only proper to respond to him in the same vein.
