Wow. Who knew giving away virtual cake was so hard.

How does one go about issuing one's own fatwah? And surely there is an Ayatollah out there somewhere who would agree with me. What do you say, Abu Ali bin Muhammed, death to the false Idols?
No, buddy. You can fatwah all you want, but if you take away the fake made-for-tv celebrities that what have you got left? What about Paris Hilton? Nicole Ritchie - what has she ever done? Eliminate people with famous parents? What then? It's a slippery slope dude. I fatwah on your fatwah.

I'm not a huge fan of coconut. And I like chocolatier chocolate. Really, I'll eat it if it's handed to me on a plate, but if I have a choice, I probably wouldn't go for it.

My fatwah was narrowly tailored to target only the American Idol-variety fake celebrities.

But if you are offering to expand it to take out Paris Hilton and/or Nicole Ritchie, that's okay by me too.

I mean, the leaked sex tapes are already available, right? Do they have anywhere left to go?

Although I may have to amend my fatwah to allow for even fake celebrities to embarass themselves with public nudity/sex. But maybe I am just a perve.

*gasp* are you saying that Kelly Clarkson is not a "real" celebrity?
Ryan Seacrest? Simon Cowell?

Better yet, take this 3 iron, jackass. You missed the fairway again and hit a fucking building? And now you want which iron so you can go for the green from here when par wins it and bogey puts you in a playoff? Uh...no. Sorry. I only have this pitching wedge. After you pitch out, I'll see what I have in my bag, moron.

Another demonstration of how people, no matter how smart or talented they are, can completely lose touch with reality under pressure.

I kept hoping Phil would pull it out like he has done in the past. Actually, I wanted Monty to win. But as soon as he fucked up, I was pulling for Phil.

Um... I don't recall NCS feeling me... I mean.. not that I would complain, but I would prefer to remember it.

Edited to add: Crap. It was NFH not NCS. Too many N names. I'm still not changing it as I am a little confused about the gender for NFH. NTTAWWT

To be fair, you were quoting me, not str8. I'm willing to own my bad quotes. Maybe we are indistinguishable Southland* peeps now? Miami outplayed Dallas in game 4 (duh). 3 and 5 were coin flips that went Miami's way, partially due to "interesting" foul calling and partially due to Dallas falling apart at the line at the end of the games. DWade was crazy good last night though. As was Terry.
My bad. I forgot to replace his name with yours in the quote line. I wasn't confusing you. I think he said something like, "Mavs win in 5," but I'm pretty sure no one else was listening.

Games 4 and 5 could have gone either way, no question. But the Mavs didn't lose because of calls. They lost because they couldn't stop Wade and missed key free throws and lost a good player because of a flagrant foul committed out of frustration and botched their timeouts.

I didn't like the last call that gave Miami the lead, but it was no surprise that there was a call there. Wade had been aggressive for 30 straight possessions and was in traffic going to the hole. Yes, I know it was the end of the game and people seem to think that unless someone breaks something, the refs should swallow their whistles, but I think he came into contact with all 5 Mavs players while taking it hard to the basket. (I was yelling at him to pass the damn ball on that play, btw.) Bad call, but really not surprising.

Besides, the Mavs can't really complain about it since they wouldn't be here if the refs hadn't declined to call an obvious foul for Duncan in the final seconds in the last game of the last round.
