Tally ho gents!
I went by one of my two favorite wine shops, Esquin ( www.esquin.com), with the other being Pike & Western ( www.pikeandwestern.com), with the objective of picking up some Owen Roe Abbott's Table, which I did, but I also heard a bottle of the just released 03 Argyle Nuthouse Pinot calling to me,
"Penske, drink me, take me, now!!!"
So I did. Cracked that my screwtop and went to work.....
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
Cheers,
P

I knew this. Most of my "extended family" growing up were Lebanese and Syrians. Believe it or not.
Although, they don't hate America, to their credit.

Given the importance of the judiciary in our system of governance, and the amount of attention you focus on ppnyc, this is a sad statement.
Perhaps it gives us some insight as to why Chicago is so corrupt, from the dictator Daleys, to the judiciary, to the legislature. No offence.

just for the record. and last time I'll say it, but the fact that the blog you cite isn't your blog doesn't make it a cite. no intent to insult.

It is a citation in the literal sense of the term. How strong a source that is depends on what you think of that source. Equating all blogs as sources makes as much as sense as equating all TV shows or all newspapers. We all know how to distinguish between, e.g., the Wall St. Journal and the National Enquirer. Which is not to say that the WSJ is right all the time either.
That particular blogger is, IMHO, a pretty solid source. Others I read, not so much. YMMV.

Matt Yglesias is a douche - opinion wise - but as a blogger he seems very legit with his facts and references*. I, too, would have preferred a cite to back that up, but I honestly doubt Yglesias would toss that one off without some legit support.
Speaking of douche - how about those Red Sox!!!!!!

Just this evening I put on my blog something by Greg Djejerian -- not Slave's kind of conservative, I'm guessing, but a conservative to be sure.

I voted Lieberman. I challenge Ty or any of the other libs to show that level of bipartisanism.

I voted for Tom McClintock for Governor of California. As club can attest, he is far more conservative than Lieberman is liberal. And I'll bet I voted for McClintock much more recently than you voted for Lieberman.
