I read a review and it made it sound as if Conan killed. The bit about putting Bob Newhart in a sealed container with 3 hours worth of air. If the show didn't finish on time, it would kill Bob Newhart. Good stuff
I was looking over the
list of winners and nominees and was struck by 2 things. First, there are a bunch of people I've never heard of on that list. Second, the award for Outstanding Directing For A Variety, Music Or Comedy Program went to the 78th Annual Academy Awards on ABC. So basically, we have an awards show honoring an awards show. Do the Emmys ever give the award to themselves, or are the some sort of conflict rules?
