This study didn't seem to be about the first paragraph, but more the second. They were sort of looking at when does it happen that people get stuck listening to the same stuff over and over again.

They also looked at when do people stop trying new foods (sushi in the midwest was the focus in that study) and when do people do people stop doing weird shit to their bodies (piercings were the focus in that study).

With all the 80s revival stuff going on lately have you tried making her give a listen to the Killers or I Love You but I've Chosen Darkness or The Faint? I'd think that now is a great time for anyone into 80s nostalgia.
