How does this make sense? The wigs are part of the presentation of the collection. If they didn't matter, he would not have had to submit receipts for them at all. I think the show was being selective about how they enforce the rules because they wanted to include his collection. I think you're being selective as well.

Yes, but that's only because you're Asian, so even when you are an old bag, nobody will think you're lazy.

My partner has plenty of time, and he does clean up her projects. Anyway, she pushes back on EVERYTHING that I ask her to do, and she gets snotty. She's constantly apologizing for her uproars and blames it on that age (hot flashes, etc.)
I'm getting to the point where I'm just going to be one of those female attorneys and to hell with it.
How do you handle these situations with your paralegals? I had to fire another paralegal about a year ago, but he was worthless.

Most paralegals suck and the ones that don't are too busy to help anyway. Use first years.

The reverse positive sterotype? ha. I guess so. I always kick out my work I learned a long time ago that that bites you in the butt not to.

Angela stuffed her extra fabric into a structured purse and she was allowed to present her dress. Kayne totally disregarded the black AND white rules of that competition and he was allowed to present his dress.
I still think that since the collection that hit the runway was under the budget, he followed the rules. It was unclear from the episode, but I would hope that everyone else's receipts were reviewed with a fine toothed comb as well and that they would have been afforded the same penalty. I think that removing items until he was under budget and telling the judges about it was appropriately punative.

Neither is having a mid-level or senior associate redoing all your work.

Fine, I will be direct. REport her to her manager [para manager] or if your office is small the office administrator or office manager. Break it down for them exactly the problem. They will yank her in and read her the riot act. Continue to do this to create a paper trail until she shapes up or ships out.

Well, this is why she's such a bitch. She has too much power and she knows it.
I would just look at her work and if it's all fucked up, don't spend the time redoing it and explaining it. Just tell her it's wrong, that she should do it again and that she shouldn't submit something until she is satisfied that it doesn't need to be completely re-worked.
