On a side note, do you honestly think that people who actually have it together are constantly being told that they have it together?

Project Runway Spoiler
Bringing extra stuff is cool. Submitting extra stuff is not. He could have made stuff while he was there too, as long as what he submitted was under $8,000. It wasn't.
I haven't seen any other seasons, so maybe their rule system is as lax as you make it sound. I tend to think that at that point in the show, the producers would rather have the collection to show than use the extra tiny bit of drama they would get by kicking him off.

The other contestants were focused on his stitch work. It could not be proven that he didn't do the stitch work. All they had was the receipts, so the other contestants were cool with it because they thought it was fair that he didn't get to go over. What they probably weren't thinking about is the disadvantage they would have had if it wasn't caught.

He was not penalized. Show me a penalty, please. Not allowing him to show pieces that put him over $8,000 is not penalizing him -- it's making him abide by the actual rules.

? Sorry, but this makes no sense. Laura was under budget but did a great job making her clothes look very expensive. She should have gotten credit for this.
Jeffrey tried to submit a collection that cost more than the maximum, was allowed to pull pieces so that he could show and then won. So, how does this mean it plays both ways?

Someone yesterday used my sorta kinda real life name to pun with "penis envy" in expressing her desire to be Just. Like Me.

Ooohhh, bad omission, you're absolutely right. Definitely solid B-list, I think. He was all over City TV and Much Music. Why, did you bang him?

The judges were told about it. It was a strike against him going into the competition. That is a penalty. He was not on an even playing field with the other contestants because he submitted something over budget. The rules don't necessarily have to lead to the harshest penalty for every violation.

And she did. In her critique she was given credit for it. She didn't win, but she was acknowledged to have accomplished quite a lot with limited means. The judging is based on a point system. She may have gotten extra points for that. Jeffery may have had points taken away for his being over budget. I wouldn't be surprised if the point spread was tiny between Jeffery and Michael (who clearly came in last).

However, I did finally watch the finale of Flavor of Love, so if anyboy wants to discuss that, I'm game. And I'm not going to use spoiler space unlesss it is specifically requested because I want everybody else who actually watches that show to have to come out of the shame closet and stand proud with me.

I saw a couple of episodes a few weeks ago (the ones where "New York" made her big return), so I'm curious as to what happened. Share, share!
