Huge pet peeve. Look at any NFL gear magazine. It contains 1-2 items made for women in actual team colors and the rest of the women's stuff is crappy pastel, non-team-color junk. I've bitched NFL Shop people out about this on multiple occasions. Why should I have to buy teen-sized paraphernalia?

And if I had fuck you money, damned right all I'd care about in dress was being comfortable.
I am wearing a pair of cargo shorts I bought out of the Victoria's Secret catalog and a tee shirt I bought this summer in the Grand Canyon.

You may feel free to surmise that I have fuck you money.

fine. you're all about "the right school" and appearances [being buff, etc] and the like. so you are being hypocritical huffing and puffing that I post incessantly about it.

The original pink caps were meant to be a one-time fundraiser for breast cancer research. I bought one on that basis.

I'm tempted to buy a pink McNabb jersey with the bling because it cracks me up. But I'm not about to do it the weekend he chooses Ronde Barber as his most favoritest receiver.

As to [1] - yes, that's right. You dug yourself a pretty deep hole with that stuff.

As to your question in [2] - read [1].

Actually, I'm impressed that you have finally acknowledged this. Seriously. I was beginning to think you were missing it entirely. Mazel tov.

I don't regret it. It is what it is and at the time I felt it was appropriate given the level of rancor cast at me.

But going forward, I will try to refrain from vast sweeping judgemental statements.

I'd suggest picking up a bit of flannel and some jeans before your upcoming trip. It's cold outside.

And, I'm jealous. Please don't tell me you're wearing sandals, too. I always knew you were loaded.

Oh, shut up. You are doing yourself no favors with this post.

Your non-regret contributes to what people think of you (just fyi - I'm sure you will say you don't care).

So, what part is confusing for you? You explained to yourself why you are treated the way you are.

I'm still waiting for the cite, by the way.

I am irritated that due to family obligations (and a hangover directly attributable to Richard Simmons was a Fruit and/or Twinkies), I had to miss the Texans game. The only game this year where actual football was played competently by the Texans.

Because I'm not sure she'll see the parallel and I'm not sure why you guys think you need to comment on her money management, about which you know absolutely zip.

What do you know about her finances? So she posts about annoying name brand stuff. I wouldn't have assumed that she is working "7 days per week until year end" because she wants the bonus cash, but maybe it is the 9 years I've spent doing transactional stuff and I get that we lack the flexibility to decrease our schedules when work gets really busy, typically at the end of the year. But in any event, why is it your business? You guys are really trying to "help" her with some problem you've convinced yourselves she has or are you just trying to sound superior about your own spending patterns?

I hate judgmental assumptions about people's lives and preaching condescension, whatever the source.

But if it is all meant to show her how annoying her assumptions about bnb have been, good show.
No, it's all meant, by me at least, just to voice my irritation. I don't care if she spends herself into the ground (well, actually, I care in a sort of human way, but not in the sense that I'm trying to get her to change her ways - Fugee may have a bigger heart than I on that point). I don't know or care if she's liquid or not in reality. I'm just irritated with the self-professed martyrdom paired with the patent lust for recognizable-in-certain-circles names under the guise of "quality." She evidently thinks it's a big deal that she is virtually indistinguishable by label from attorneys and banker-wives; I find that sad and the constant assertions tedious and suspect. I also think saying "I work OT to hedge against my car blowing up" (implying that without the OT they'd be up a creek if it happened) and "it's all for the kids" to sound incongruous with the "I want I want I want" of the rest of the posts.

I'm headed to Upstate New York this weekend. I am going to freeze my fabulous new tits off. But I have been assured that an electric blanket has been purchased for my comfort and that wood has been stacked by the fireplace.

And honey, I'm not wearing shoes. Shoes are overrated. But it's time for a pedicure, or at least a polish change. Barbie-pink is not sufficiently autumn-y.

I doubt shoes are overrated in Upstate NY this time of year.
