Why would anyone use UPS when FedEx is around. the only thing worse would be Airborne/Whatever- that's some special bad.

Late Night Posting
First, I like how the "Manfred Pledge" has entered the FB vocabulary. If only it would catch on.
Second, I learned to read at a unbelievably early age by watching Sesame Street. It's been all downhill since age 2. I remember watching Electric Company and 3-2-1 Contact, but I don't remember much about them. I guess they weren't as effective as "Abierto" and "Cerrrado" or any of the stuff on Schoolhouse Rock!
Third, I'm pretty sure I had some Nike hightops, and I definitely had a puffy jacket (though it was black with grey), and I'm pretty sure no pictures exist of me wearing it. Come to think of it, I wore (different) ugly jackets until late in college.
Fourth, to confirm, Friday Night Videos was on NBC Friday nights after Carson. Letterman had Fridays off just like Jon Stewart does now.
There was also Night Flight, but that was on USA (a cable station). They only sometimes played videos, and I thought Rhonda Sheer was more annoying than sexy.
Say what you will about Ms. Mountz, but at least her teeth aren't abnormally large. And as yet, she hasn't made any comments about Gavin's package on the record. Of course, Gavin isn't even sure he wants to run again. He sounds a bit like Sebby here, doesn't he?
Serves us right. We finally get a decent mayor, then we nag him right out of office. There's no pleasing us, is there?

Count your blessings. All I ever got out of it was an unhealthy obsession with cookies.

According to my mother, I used to sit on the stoop with a book and offer to read it to neighbors for the price of a cookie.
Great minds...

No one would use UPS or Airborne if given the choice. Some vendors use because they are cheaper.
Airborne actually lies and says that they deliver or tried to deliver stuff when they didn't.

FedEx sucks for home delivery of packages. Dunno if fringey was waiting on her gold-plated vibrator, but FedEx makes you sign for that stuff. At least most of the time--generally if the package is valued at less than $200, you have to sign, which means if you work you're not home for it. Of course, if it's a computer or something really valuable, then they leave it behind the bushes or out in the rain.

What's the deal with Juan Valdez, anyway? When did he get bored with the life of a Colombian peasant icon and decide to go into retail?

I don't eat the carbos. I had a chilli omelot, w/ tomatos onions and cheese, side of bacon instead of the hash browns and toast.
Here's an anomaly-- Since I don't eat the carbs I can't run as fast as, say Penske, over 10K BUT I'm much thinner than he is- who would have thought?
