Yeah, we really do. I'm tired of you guys objectifying me. I'm a whole person, with a heart and soul, and feelings and shit, you know.

you don't think it would be a benefit for employees to be able to recieve personal packages so they don't need to use leave to wait at home?

I'm not saying do away with the whole train sequence. They needed to get Beeks out of the picture somehow. Maybe this is like the 2006 yankees--too many stars. They should have left Belushi and Franken out, or had them commit to smaller parts.
|
Was Franken a star then, or a pre-star, like Annette Bening in Postcards from the Edge ("I'm in it for the 'endolphin' rush.")?

Ouch.

*sigh* Hank, shut it, you know why we can't use work resources for personal stuff.

It's the probing (p.i.) quality of your hypotheticals that sometimes make me wonder if you're a law professor.

What work resources are being used? Do packages get delivered to a mail room, and it creates an extra burden for the mail guys to bring it to your office?
That said, I shouldn't be slinging such questions--we're not allowed to put stamped personal mail in the mail-out box. Apparently carrying a couple of bill payments would overburden someone. (Yet, oddly, we're allowed limited personal use of copiers because it doesn't increase costs.)

I use my secretary's time to have her return clothes that I bought online and don't want to keep. Pretty much that is all I use her for. And she is excellent at it.
Is that wrong?

one year our Christmas card- for friends and cool family had a picture like this
except it was from an end of the year solicitation so the guy was painting some Xmas scene.......and he was painting with his feet
my muse took over---
- the paraplegic painter
it really is quite neat
working on his craft
using only his feet
now a quadriplegic artist
when he wants to paint a wreath
his options are quite limited
he's forced to use his teeth
the toothless quadriplegic
he's really in a rut
when he wants to be creative
he's forced to use his butt
and this self-same driven painter
his doc he did nag
when the saw bones told him
he needed a colostomy bag!
I was younger and realize today that it was in bad taste

He's certainly not as much fun to look at as Annette Bening. I defer to str8's expertise as to which list he belongs on. Or PLF's, if it's one of those Minnesota things.

One list he's on is the creditors' list for Air America.

On the contrary, that is so right. And as a plus, you won't get investigated by any governmental entities for doing so.
Win-win!
Burger, can you get packages at work? ETA yes, they would get delivered to the mailroom. Especially at my old office, which was not accessible to the hoi polloi.
We do seem to be allowed to get flowers.
