This is the type of post that gets you in trouble with me. "Neither" means not one nor the other. It refers to two objects, not four (as you have in your sentence). Moreover, when using "neither," the proper conjunction is "nor," not "or." I will not even bother with the misspellings.

If I were a right-minded Newber and I stumbled across this post, I would high tail it to a chatting board with more grammatical integrity.

I think you should avoid mounting things altogether.

Judge.

Judgmental. Judgmental. Judgmental.

Jesus Christ.

eta: And yes, this post is sanctimonious. But I let that one go since it's only the first time I've seen you misspell it.

In order to do so, that would require me to lose my Ipod more frequently. You wanna buy me a new one on occasion?

Huh, this seems unduly harsh--excerpted from m-w.com definition of neither: "A few commentators think that neither must be limited in reference to two, but reference to more than two has been quite common since the 17th century[.]"

Either flower is stuck in a 16th c. state of mind (unlikely) or he is in a select group of commentators flowing against the masses (probable!).

I really hate to do this, but it is acceptable to use "neither...nor" (or for effect, "neither...nor...nor...nor") with more than two objects.

I appreciate your good faith constructional criticismal corrective behaviour, but isn't the use of the "e" the brit. var.?

Your post assumes that grammatical integrity is a quality that all newbers universally espouse. Who are you to determine what draws or repels them? Grammaticist F*7%.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if he were stuck in 2001?

Uh...I'm not quite ready for what I'd get in return. So, I'll pass.

I blame the postal workers for this. Ever since that "Neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow", it's been all downhill.
