I'm sure it will shock to you to find out that I watch this show. Basically, this season the show started with one fat person from every state. 14 were chosen by the trainers to stay at the ranch to train and lose weight. the rest were sent home to do it on their own and the two at home that lose the most weight will be allowed to join the others at the ranch on next week's episode. Every week, the two teams have a weigh-in and the team that loses the least % of weight has to vote someone off. That's basically it. When it gets down to 3 people left, they send them home for a few months to continue the weight loss and then they bring all the contestants back for the finale and the person in the top 3 who lost the biggest % of weight wins. THe person who was voted off but loses the biggest % of weight wins a smaller cash prize.

It does appear unsafe, but they supposedly have doctors and nutritionists and everything monitoring the people.

I love this show. Fat people are entertaining. And, as Thurgreed has pointed out repeatedly, inherently funny.

I can do the 3X a day bit on vacation.

But work makes me so angry and depressed that it quite literally made that impossible for the past few years.

I had drunk sex last week... That kind where you're grinding like a lunatic to keep hitting the right spot, then slamming to a plateau and not feeling anything - perfectly painless, just going with the moment... That's exactly what I meant. I realize that there may be a little melodrama on a reality TV show, but working someone out to the point that they collapse on the floor doesn't seem like it's all that productive.
