You are confusing quantity with productivity. Board productivity is an elusive concept that you may not yet fully understand.

But only because they're used to being up early. If I wanted to, I could start going to bed much earlier, and waking up much earlier, and do my job just as well (or poorly). But I don't, because I'm not a sucker, and learned that at least in the law, if you're gone at 6pm, it doesn't matter whether you've billed 7 hours by then or 12, you're a slacker who goes home early.
