Eventually, however, we will get all our synergies in order, someone will step up to the plate and run with the big idea, right up until we get down to the short strokes.

Then Coltrane will take over.

Then why is surgery scheduled 6, 9, and noon? If the space is rare, some docs should be working the afternoon shift.
Maybe they have found that more space is needed for emergency surgeries later in the day and at night?

If I can't eat for 12 hours beforehand, I WANT my surgery to be at 6 am.

Sorry, but I prefer Ninja. That's "Ninja" in Belgian.

One word: industrial jackhammer.

Is there such a thing as a non-industrial jackhammer?

That is so messed up that is verbatim what I thought as well. Are you going to dye your hair caramel as well?

I took him to mean that your combined posts were less discrete than they would otherwise be. If he meant that you were posting less often, he would have written "fewer discrete posts". Or else Flower made a mistake, which I doubt.

Belgian beers are wonderful (as is drinking beer in Belgium). However, serving anything but Chimay in the Chimay glass would be considered a serious no-no there. Each beer has its own glass.

ABBA, I have to work all day, so I cannot drink with you. Drinking on the job is another thing that they do not view at all favorably here.

Well, then, you clearly need a new job.

Chimay is outstanding...and freaking expensive.

I don't know about that. In evangelical circles, unless you are Jimmy Swaggart and have your own TV show, even an affair with a woman pretty much toasts you with the local church. And paying for it is worse than a regular affair. I can't think of a public sex scandal here in Minnesota evangelical churches involving a homosexual affair so I don't know how it would play out, but I don't think it would be good.
