BASEBALL CARDS--do any of you know anything
I've been charged with finding some rookie baseball cards in time for Christmas for a granmother-aged friend of mine to give to her grandson. She knows nothing about cards and is blind...so she's not much help in this effort. But, she did say she wanted the rookie cards for Atlanta Braves' Jeff Francoeur and Brian McCann who were called up to the majors in 2005. All i can find are rookie cards for I guess the minors in earlier years....does anyone have any guidance on how i figure out what is THE rookie card for their major league rookie year for these people?
How do i get tasked with these things?

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.

My knowledge of baseball cards is, um, decades old, but I doubt that minor league baseball players have cards made of them. So I would think that the first card you can find for any player is the rookie card.
A player called up in, e.g., the summer of 2005 might not have a card for that year -- perhaps the "rookie card" would be the card for 2006, or perhaps there is no rookie card?

look in phone book for card store in your town. go there. pull out a $20 bill and tell the guy you will pay $20 for those 2 rookie cards. he will order them if he doesn't have them.
is life so tough?

When you make partner, don't they give you an office furnishings allowance? Can't you buy a chaise lounge or something?

I know someone(s) has recommended My Morning Jacket in the past. Which albums or songs do people favor?
I tried searching the FB over the last year but came up empty. All I got was stuff about what jacket Flower wears in the morning.

first CD great.
second CD, not so much.
third, live CD, no idea.
