Darker drinks cause worse hangovers. Shocking, I know.

http://www.nytimes.com/2006/11/07/he...tml?ref=health

Quote:
Experts say that the type of alcohol you drink does make a difference, but for various reasons. Among the most important is the amount of congeners (pronounced CON-juh-nurz) — complex organic molecules, like methanol — in a particular drink. Impurities in poorly refined spirits like cheap vodka can also play a role, but congeners, which are common in darker liquors, seem to have the greatest effect.

According to one report in The British Medical Journal, which looked at the effects of different types of alcohol, the drink that produced the most hangover symptoms was brandy, followed by red wine, rum, whiskey, white wine, gin and vodka. Another study showed that bourbon was twice as likely to cause sickness as the same amount of vodka.
I can't even think about bourbon without feeling queasy.

In the regular pictures, which we see quite a bit of. Perhaps the airbrushed models look more normal in candid shots -- but we don't see them.

here is what frustrates me. I ANSWERED HIS QUESTION- ever helpful Hank- Jack has the best advice.

Now a dozen of you have confused the question. I hope Jack knows to weigh the "advice" proportionally to the value of the rest of the things you each post. If he does, he will read my post first, then log off and head to the store.

I can't even think about bourbon without feeling queasy.
I barfed bourbon for about an hour on my 18th birthday. Talk about a hangover.

So, in my own personal study, I have known this for years.

blended scothc equals no hangover, while single malt equals hangover- explain that.

but now that i've been drinking i'm outta smokes and i wish that i had it.
woke up to my daily headache and the realization that you are gone.

And nothing ever gets done around my apartment unless I write myself a "to do" list.

So now my "to do" list has "watch sex tape" on it. Why am I such a retard?
What has happened to your priorities? Are you trying to tell us that you check e-mail before you search for sex tapes?

That's not Jerry Hall. There was some VH1 documentary where they found the models and interviewed them. The blonde, who is now a brunette and maybe even a stay-at-home mom, seemed bemused by all the attention.

Hank, I would have ignored everyone else if I had skipped over your postscript. Something from the creators of "Walking the Dinosaur" is a must-have? Though that would be good theme music for Burger.

Flinty, I already picked up Fulfilingness' First Finale and Innervisions. There's some special edition of Songs in the Key of Life that needs to get marked down some more. They might be out of Talking Book.

It's your fault I drank it to excess - I was trying to soothe my pain over your Katie-lust.

It gives so much, so selflessly. Those kind always suffer.

Katie has a nice body for TV News stooge. You have to admit that.

How old is she? What happened? She does not have an attractive face, but I never thought she had wrinkles like this:
