True, but since I do not live in a moderate climate I do have Uggs and a pair of Sorels. Yes, I have a problem with cold feet*. They get frost bite easily. I wish someone had told me that day at Sugarloaf, that if I continued skiing, I'd have to wear ugly boots for the rest of my life. Moral of the story, do not ski in -70 wind chill conditions.

(*That may also explain my spinster status.)

Sorels are very warm. They are big in Vermont where it is extremely cold.

I would like to address your post. I feel it was a thougtful, well thought out post and rather considerate. I understand you object to the volume of posts, as well as what you consider to be the degredation of content of the posts as well.

However, these types of posts, while not attacking me, certainly blindside me, they befuddle me. I'm not attacking anyone, I'm innocuously commenting and playing nice. What is the catalyst?

I will take your post under serious consideration, as I am a reasonable person.

Thank you for the consideration. I think that the main problem with the volume of the posts is that many board denizens find that they overwhelm and sometimes stifle what they consider to be worthwhile conversation topics. It just ends up being a lot to wade through.

I'm glad we can discuss this matter reasonably.

You know, I was thinking about this problem just the other day and I think I have a solution.

You know how there's an adult board, and you have to get a mod to allow you access there? Couldn't we have an annoyance-free board, and not allow certain in-my-space and offputting people there? A board you have to be on the guest list for kind of thing.

I think that is an interesting and excellent suggestion, but what would happen to the lurkers and lurkers-cum-newbers? It would be the end of PLF, I think.
