That's me, not ncs. I don't think she has commented (or would be crass enough to comment) about Mr. Man's putting out.
I am unfulfilled and bitter for oh so many reasons. Not having kids is just the tip of the iceberg. The sliver of ice on the tip of the iceberg. I just play well-adjusted on the internet.

My sisters new husband is a very stylish dresser. Everything tailored just so. Hell, if I know 'who' he wears, but he is always well dressed and well groomed.
That bastard is still an ass. Drives my parents crazy. Should be an interesting T-day at the Elk house, since he is not allowed in my parents house.

Why was there ever a discussion of why things would never work out between me and you? I certainly did initiate it, and I am almost certain I have never participated in it. Why does that thought ever cross your mind? Of all the things one could post, why that?

That it is the coolest thing to you scares me a little. Me and my tattoos.

My sister's ex was a preppy Ivy League graduate that was well mannered, ambitious, and always very polite and charming. My sister met him at my parent’s country club and he came from a "good family". My parents thought he walked on water, and then it turned out he was cheating on my sister all over town.
Now he is not so popular with my parents. Her new boyfriend is a big improvement. He is a relaxed, unpretentious, modest and a Buddhist (and not just a pretend new age Buddhist, he is the real thing). He is politically to the left of Ho Chi Minh (and knows his stuff) so he is fun to talk to.

FFD: I was also ColemanYoungster, and everyone knows he was a champion 'tang hunter.

Uh, like I was going to say to Anne. I thought it was implicitly understood that someone has to be nice and genuine and a good person before hand and clothes do not make the man.
The clothes look good in addition to all those aforementioned qualities.
And, it's not one or the other. If you don't dress well it is not automatically assumed you are a good guy, either.

My extended family is about as preppy as they come. Easter becomes a pastel nightmare. At my cousin's wedding in Seattle, there was a garden party thrown at the Seattle tennis club (my grandparents met there) for the newlyweds. Everyone was in uniform (blue blazer, tan pants, white shirt, etc) except my sister was in an outfit that her boyfriend bought her in India and her boyfriend was wearing a Hawaiian shirt (but he did point out to me that it was a silk Hawaiian shirt).
I was standing there in my designer clothes (which is stupid because I could have bought the blue blazer country club garden party uniform at Mervyns and it would have looked exactly the same and been one eighth the price) holding my mint Julep, listening to my sister's boyfriend explain to my aunt (who has spent her entire life trying to be a sterotype) why she was partially responsible for world hunger.
I admired his courage to stick to his principles.

Jesus, get a room you two. And tell Gatti where it is, he's sounding a little desperate as of late.

My sister's ex was a tattooed, snowboarding, art director for a porn website. Fun to talk to until he get mixed up in the party scene and started cheating on her and doing drugs.
Her new husband is a well-dressed, well-mannered*, atheist who is not fun to talk to. We've tried, but it's hard to carry on a conversation with someone who provides one word answers while looking down his nose at you. We don't like him.
I'd like to mess with him (it would be sooo easy), but he's also gaslighting her, so it's not worth the possible repercussions on her and her son.
Maybe I'll get him a tacky Hawaiian shirt for gwfgwf.
*in his mind

It's interesting that in the land of uber-diversity-above-all tree hugging granola munching kumbayists that such shite doesn't go over so much at the STC. Bollocks!

It would have been a little less patentparaesque if you had said "reason 145 why I think Spanky is an idiot", or "reason 132 of why I know I don't even have to meet Spanky to know I don't like him".
But referencing a potential relationship between you and me made it just a little creepy.

Blue flames? That's impolite not to mention dangerous. Especially with the kid.
