I'm sick of all the "I know cooler music than you" posts around here. I'm going to help you all. Here's something to watch, super-cool in France at the moment (I can't help it; I love French rap and French pop), but also says a lot about a lot. But on pure amusement, I like when he actually raps to the sheep.
Spree: Beware! if you hate French rap. Otherwise, sfw.

I want a zorse for Christmas.
BTW, where is that camera located? There doesn't seem to be a website attached to it to explain anything. Very mysterious--I'm somewhat convinced it's the back lot at Budweiser's Sea World Africa USA Entertainment Gardens.

This may be a savannah legend (or whatever the opposite of an urban legend is), but I thought that zebra were famously undomesticable; that many have
tried, and none have succeeded.

the e-mail from my sister:
Quote:
my friend forwarded me this. really really cool! i asked her where the
watering hole was, and this is her response:
Ok. I asked my friend where that watering hole is located and he got
back to me with this information:
Nkorho Pan is a natural water hole in the prestigious Sabi Sands
Private Game Reserve, in South Africa. Nkorho pan is named after
Nkorho bush Lodge which gets it name from the Shangaan derivative for
the call of the yellow-billed hornbill, a common and unusual looking
bird from this area.

eta: link to the lodge: http://www.nkorho.com/
Maybe we should go there instead of Sweden?

Wikipedia sez:
Quote:
Attempts have been made to train zebras for both riding and draft use, both for novelty value and due to their better resistance than horses to diseases in Africa. Although easily broken for both uses, they are highly strung and zebra-mules or zebroids (crosses between any species of zebra and a horse, pony, donkey or ass) are preferred over pure-bred zebras.

remember when I needed to get 5 PMs telling me to stay, or I'd leave? I only got 5 and one was Thrashers Fan. If Georgians can't be trusted, then maybe she was not sincere? Should I leave?

No, I can't say I recall that episode. But of course you should leave! Be adventurous! (That looks misspelled, but I don't think it is.) Where are you going?
As for Thrashers Fan, I think you can't trust that she's really Georgian.

another thing I need advice on. Whenever Fringey and I start getting closer to my moving out there, I read something like this and it gives me pause.......
- Man set afire while in bed
A Fulton County woman doused her boyfriend with gasoline then set him on fire while he was in bed early Saturday, police said.
The woman, 39-year-old Cynthia Covington, was also burned, said Cpl. Gary Syblis of the Fulton County police. Both are in Grady Memorial Hospital. No charges have been filed.
Syblis said Bobby Thompson, 50, of Marly Drive in south Fulton came home from work about 6:30 a.m. went to bed in the residence he shared with Covington, police said.
Covington threw the fuel on him and lit it for reasons not yet known, Syblis said. Thompson was burned in the crotch, arms and face.
The flames spread to the house, damaging the room. The fire department put the fire out. Police have been called to the residence previously to resolve domestic disputes, Syblis said.

Oh Hank, don't you take any of my advice? "Fulton County" should tell you everything you need to know. It does not signify.
Follow your heart, Hank. Just remember who is Number One!

Most likely antelope, but I can't remember the different kinds.
Oh, and somebody broke the cam, I can't get on right now. I did find this link to other wildlife cams (mostly Africa). I have to find the link to the Canadian bald eagle cam. It's great in the spring when the chicks are born.
