I'm sorry, but really -- when you start feeling sick, stop doing what you're doing. And I would guess that most of the contestants, had they just been listening to the show and to the DJs haranguing anyone who felt sick, would have found it hilarious.

Stupid all around, indeed. The only people I feel sorry for are the dead woman's kids.

As an aside, the boyfriend sounds like a good guy -- he knows that you and the ex have to get along reasonably well at least until the Brazenette is off working on her PhD, and so he doesn't want to be the cause of a problem.
 | I'll call him tonight. I actually think one of the reasons he was non-responsive is that he was at work and didn't want to get into it. I also think another reason is that he wanted some time to think about it.

The new boyfriend is a really good guy and is trying to assure that we can all sit at one table at the Brazenette's bat mitzvah, when that day arrives.

 | This explains why I didn't want to ask his permission in the first place. I did not want to give him veto power over my life.

Nonetheless, I don't think he's being a total dick (yet). I only asked him this morning.

 | sounds to me like she is trying to carefully negotiate through 3 people's wishes, and she is doing fine, and people should quit telling her that any one of the 3 is acting wrong.

She's the Carla Tortelli of pop music.
 | So today's discussion is post-partum sex? Has someone notified lactation lover? |

He used to be fun on the radio, twenty+ years ago.
