"Upscale" is code for "no video booths"?

Very attentive people in that campaign.

It seems that Mr. Clemons is a friend of the Bush family, so that may be why this gotten all partisan. Seems weird to me, but then this whole governmental fascination with steroid use in professional sports is weird to me.
Arlen Spector is looking into what happened with Thurgreed's favorite videos, so I guess these guys can't help but get themselves involved in stuff that doesn't seemingly have anything whatsoever to do with the running of the country.

At least with steroids there's a criminal law that prevents their distribution. So at least there's some connection, albeit a tenuous one.
I really can't understand the NFL thing, other than as a lever for Specter to get to the NFL so that he can advance Comcast's interests vis a vis the NFL and the NFL network.

The real problem is in California, where Republican candidates have been using steroids for years.
It's the only thing that keeps them in the game.

Isn't Clemens accused of using HGH? That isn't necessarily illegal, just not ok for baseball players.

a sex shop is where you get stuff to go be with another person somewhere else. you've been going to places where, if there will be another person, she'll be right there, the other side of some pliexiglass.

True, although I believe it's not legal to dispense or use without a prescription. Not that use of prescription drugs by people other than the prescribee ever gets prosecuted.

Hasn't helped any, either. His sax on the new record is just as terrible as it was on "Greetings from Asbury Park."

Yes. Couples love "pocket pussies."
