I went into the kitchen and asked my husband and my dad (who was visiting) who had let the German tourist into our tv room.

Okay. I have an actual fashion question, and it has nothing to do with socks.

And what the hell are you doing here? Isn't there some solar flair you're supposed to be salvoing at us right now?

I want to be Serena but I'm too Jamie Somers. |

 | She asked me to join her so we could discuss some work we are both doing in an area of mutual interest.

Of course, at the time she suggested this and after I said yes she practically ripped a piece of paper out of my hands so she could write down her contact info.

So apparently, she is very eager to have this discussion. |

Joan Collins is a fun idea for endora, but only for about 2 minutes. She's way too over-the-top camp to work, really. She doesn't really have the finesse to pull off the Auntie Mame elements of the character. Bacall's a good call. What is Diana Rigg up to these days?
 | A bit on the young side for Endora, but how about Christine Baranski?

In the spirit of today's sock-free board (except for Paigow's, but no one expects her to accept criticism well), I provide genuine content:
1. How do the anti-implant, animal-freaks feel about Neuticles, testicular implants for animals who have been neutered? See http://dallasobserver.com/issues/200...l/1/index.html .

2. It is rare that I would say that a 13-year old boy deserves to have a drumstick shoved up his ass, but this one may qualify - http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/new...stick+incident .

				      | Last I heard, Kidman was inking a deal but it wasn't a lock. This site is ahead of IMDB and says Kidman and Ferrell are a lock; no other cast set. Ferrell's been a known deal for about a month, I'd guess.

I invented saying Kidman and Carrey were the perfect Sam and Darren.

As for nuns, they cropped or hacked or shaved their heads, but didn't shave anywhere else. (No doy.) Modern nuns who still wear the habit are few and far between. I know one nun who definitely shaves her legs, but she's the California hot-tubbing variety of nun. YMMV. |

 | I was considering posting the same Neuticles article, when low and behold I see that Less has saved me the effort. As a reward (not really), I will post my favorite (in a wtf are these people doing sort of way) paragraph from the story:

"Neuticles owner Miller said many times owners are tempted to give their dog the illusion of a more robust character than nature intended. But he warned that overpadding the sacks will cause inflammation and might lead to more serious complications, such as one beagle whose scrotum was dragging the floor after its owner had replaced the dog's small testicles with large Neuticles."

Isn't that animal abuse? Montecore, please step in and maul that stupid owner. |

 From the drumstick article:

****
The 13-year-old victim "had his butt in one of the boys' face," said Richard Wilkes, a spokesman for St. Louis police. "For lack of a better word, he was being cute and stuck the stick up there."
****

Hmmmm. I'm no wordsmith, but I'm pretty sure I can come up with a better word than "cute."
