And just to be clear about what I said earlier -- I wasn't trying to accuse the press of being pro-Yankees. I think you have to be suspicious of all coverage about trades that don't happen.
edited to add:
When the Mavericks picked up Antoine Walker recently, David Aldridge said the Celtics got taken, and Peter May said they got the best deal out there. Who's right? Who knows? In this case, I'm inclined to believe May, since Aldridge wasn't explaining what the alternative was. But it's very hard to tell what's going on.

				      | Oh, for God's sake. Here I was, looking forward to finally seeing the end of the Weightlifter With the Dislocated Elbow that has been featured prominently on my Yahoo start page for over a week now, and its inevitable replacement with festive boobage in time for Thanksgiving.
But no. Another, entirely different weightlifter dislocated his elbow on Friday * at the same international competition, and the joyous event was of course captured on film and is now immensely popular among readers of Yahoo News. My start page features two different photos of agonizing pain and freakish limb placement. I think I'll cancel this module and forego the festive seasonal boobage that alas remains merely a potential as yet.

I'm anxiously awaiting the end of this little elbow dislocation photography trend.

*Spree: Yahoo News. Not for the faint of heart, as before. |

I told them I paid too much for the service and was thinking of switching, so they knocked 29.99 off my monthly rate on the spot, no change in any other terms of service. But I may still dump them, because I DO hate them with the fire of a thousand angry suns.

If you can't bring yourself to pony up for the Zegna, then I can also suggest looking into Canali.

whats worse, trousers or slacks? If I ever make it onto the Inside the Actors Studio and James Lipton gives me the Bernard Peevo questionairre and asks my least favorite word, I am not sure which to choose. Titty? Fleshy? Trousers? I am trying to prepare it so it is totally off the cuff and in the moment sounding when it happens. This assumes you can get this honor when the only acting you do is fake orgasms.
 | Trousers are what a gentlemen wears. Slacks are what you get two pair of with a suit at Sears. Or they they are what Irv and Manny wear to the golf club in Boca Raton.
