1/2 HP disposal is for people whose diet consists entirely of pudding and apple sauce.

2. Who’d buy a house with a 1/2 HP? Prolly has a dorm fridge, amiright?
Coltrane, serious Q, do you have an HD TV yet?

I probably have one of the last plasma TVs built. It's about 5 years old and has a better picture (for movies and sports) than the newer LED TVs.

I have an ancient one. Couldn't even guess age at this point.
Cant get rid of it because it weighs more than a great dane.

Dude, whatever, but the article says, "The Reuters/Ipsos national opinion survey, which ran from Saturday afternoon to Tuesday, found that 79% of U.S. adults believe Biden won the White House. Another 13% said the election has not yet been decided, 3% said Trump won and 5% said they do not know."
Believe what you like, but that means, in the literal sense of means, that 79% of U.S. adults believe Biden won.

Xanax, Francis. I'm making fun of polls. Because, um, they're kind of really wrong as of late.

Again, they were spot on in 2016, but yeah this time was off. I do wonder how big a "Bradley effect" hit for our boy. If I had planned on voting for him I'd def have lied to a pollster. The only people that I could see admitting it are the real horribles.
But the polls were accurate other than him. Realclearpolitics had the Senate pretty much dead on. So I wouldn't write off polls in a normal race where one of the candidates isn't mentally insane and a wreckless egomaniac who cares for no one.

I want to know who actually talks to pollsters (or phone bankers) on the phone. With dozens of political calls every day during an election cycle, I don't pick up anything unless I know the number. I imagine most everyone else is the same. It can't be a good sample, no matter how many numbers they try.

I pick up no one who is unidentified. If a call is coming from a political campaign I support, I will pick that up. If it comes from someone I oppose, I'll only pick it up if I'm feeling ornery. I recently answered one of those police charities when I was feeling ornery and spent five minutes asking them why they didn't support BLM.

"Police charities" have nothing to do with either word. I had a job senior year in High School selling tickets for a "benefit" concert for the Police Officers Association of Michigan. It was a big room full of high school lying to people about who was actually in the concert. The script to read had the word POLICE over and over. The only ones I sold were to people with very thick accents who I assume were recent immigrants, and afraid of the repeated POLICE mentions.
But when you give those callers shit understand they are far from police supporters, more likely some dumb kid trying to make a buck.

Wait, you mean they are scams?
Next thing you're going to tell me Trump University wasn't making education great again.

Sounded like a 50-60 year old man, who rose to a little bit of bait.
Yes, if it was some kid, I wouldn't have screwed with him. I did phone work more than once to make ends meet.
Broader point was just to agree that random phone calls don't work too well these days.
