It is the ultimate drying machine. It will steam your clothes, and it claims to be able to remove smoky and other odors. It also has those mesh sweater dryer things that I'm sure many of you have tripped over at one time or another after hand washing your cashmere per BRC's instructions, but it's supposed to dry things faster than regular air drying.

I really couldn't tear myself away from the thing. I've never had appliance lust before. It's bad enough walking into Sears, but to be unable to leave because of a dryer? Homeownership is really fucking up my life.
 | I'm pretty sure I would use this as a dryer/dresser. No more laundry baskets. Take the clothes out, fold them and put them on the shelves on top.

 | Embarrassed as I am to admit this, that's actually what I thought it was before I read the description. |

 | I give the dryer thread a grade of D+. Because I am in a generous mood.

				Letter from XTina to Britney

Does anyone know anything about this? I cannot believe that I, of all people, have missed all reports of this. Anyone have a link to a report or the letter itself?
I am wondering whether this is going to turn into a JayZ/Nas battle (I think that's who it is). That could be hot.

 | I am intrigued by the getting rid of smoky odors promise. Alas, it would not fit into the designated dryer area in my living quarters. |

 | I bought one, and what a rip-off. The manual says it only removes smoky orders if you do all your smoking and cooking while sitting in it naked.

 | I don't know anything about a letter, but I did read their catty interviews in Blender, or Maxim, or Stuff a couple of months ago. XTina called Britney something along the lines of a lost little girl, to which Britney said no, that was XTina. The Britney interview was amusing to read because the interviewer was clearly unhappy with her attitude in the interview and she didn't come off looking very good (well, I mean she LOOKED good, but she didn't interview well). |

 | No it's not. When you know you're going to be working late, you order much more than you would eat in one meal because you're definitely going to be hungry later. Although, Houlihans fucking sucks and they don't have $45 worth of anything decent to eat in there.

The guy was a pussy for not copying the person (most likely the Managing Partner) responsible for the policy. Why vent at someone who can't put your request through without risking their job? At the very least, talk to the partner you're working for to get special clearance if the $40 means that much to you. And if you're at Skadden, it doesn't.
