I asked before...won't someone please outline how things could result in "needing"to work Xmas. I was once in a litigation file which had been ignored- discovery closed 12/31. We had depositions scheduled every day of december, including xmas eve in LA. I was on the redeye home landing 6am xmas morning. Deadline got moved backthe wek before xmas, and all scheduled deps moved comfortably back.

I was made aware of a deal where Kirkland was on the other side and the "senior paralegal" worked until 9 the day before Thanksgiving- that was stupid since no one looked at his work product till noon the day after Thanksgiving- he could have done it that morning.

brc said she almost had to work xmas- can someone just explain what could possibly require this. other than a huge ego partner yelling that you have to, and you doing it to prove something.

Confidential to gwnc- I am haphazard in checking spelling- I reallyneed spellcheck. But it is not a physical problem- Admit my hands are quite large, even given the size of my frame. My fingers, long and meaty, sure, but proportional; but the fingers of a craftsman- suptle/dextrous-Knowing- but not FAT.
