Clients and bankers change shit. They figure they can make a change on noon on 12/24 b/c it will give the lawyers 48 hours to get all the documents revised before the clients and bankers have to review the docs at noon on 12/26. Lawyers are soulless and all the good ones are Jews*, so it really isn't a hardship to make them work on Christmas, right?
*Note that this is tongue in cheek, I'm sure that there must be a couple good goyishe lawyers out there [I'm sure they're just in-house].
