Hey media: it's called an investment, jackasses. And whether you think he's crazy or not (crazy as batshit), it's going to be a profitable one.

'President Bush said he wants to stop activist judges from changing the definition of the "most enduring human institution."'

Shouldn't the key to that sentence be "human?"

A friend of mine (she has an IMDB listing, isn't that cool?) worked on sound for the Passion. I saw her this weekend and she said that it was an amazing production to work for. She went out of her way to talk about how cool Mel was in working on the film. She said he was a genuinely nice guy, very funny, and not really pushy about the religion stuff.

On the bright side, the show did feature Jenna Jameson's tits.

Jenna's tits are two sizes too big.

She looked great in Old School. In the film commentary, Luke Wilson says that he's almost always watching himself when he watches his movies. However, during the scene when he wakes up with her after the party, he said his eyes drifted elsewhere.
I liked the blonde with the kid better. For some reason, I thought she was incredibly hot. Ever have that happen? You see a chick who's hot - but not insane model hot - yet she really flips your switch. I think I'm genetically/primordially wired to desire chicks who look like the blonde with the kid, yet I can't put my finger on the particular physical atrribute that makes her so hot to me...

Of course, the fact that I all but got Viagra-style wood while watching Tyra Banks on the Daily Show last nite kind of blows any hypothesis that I'm wired to like blondes. I never thought much of Tyra in print, but Jesus Fucking Christ... she's unbelievable in the flesh. And she seems pretty smart. Somewhat clueless, but smart.

Cop it while it's hot...

It's an excellent album, widely available for download.

Check out his Ghetto Pop Life.

Really? I've never liked her and I think she is really annoying on America's Next Top Model. I don't think she is UNattractive, but she's not hot.

Really annoyed me with Braveheart and the Patriot. Though he hasn't even remotely risen to Robin Williams levels of annoyance, I admit, and I don't make a point of avoiding his films in general - just the "meaningful" ones, because of the aforementioned and repeatedly demonstrated annoyance factor.

this review may make people want to see it

Sounds like you don't really need to speak Aramaic.
  • [T]he movie Gibson has made from his personal obsessions is a sickening death trip, a grimly unilluminating procession of treachery, beatings, blood, and agony—and to say so without indulging in “anti-Christian sentiment” (Gibson’s term for what his critics are spreading). For two hours, with only an occasional pause or gentle flashback, we watch, stupefied, as a handsome, strapping, at times half-naked young man (James Caviezel) is slowly tortured to death. Gibson is so thoroughly fixated on the scourging and crushing of Christ, and so meagrely involved in the spiritual meanings of the final hours, that he falls in danger of altering Jesus’ message of love into one of hate.

David Denby in The New Yorker
