I can only go so far in paigow translations. It's like when a cop goes deep, deep undercover and loses a sense of who he is and what is right and wrong. Wackadoo Land may be nice to visit (I hear from Slave), but I wouldn't want to live there. You know?

And I think we need to drop Country Music. Fortunately, there's an opening in Diplomacy, so we don't have to change any personnel.

Floyd is one under-appreciated character. Come to think of it, True Romance doesn't get enough recognition in general: Kilmer as Elvis; the scene with Chris Walken and Dennis Hopper; Gandolfini and Arquette; Bronson Pinchot and the bag of blow...

I could understand her, because PP is really a hard-core conservative ( edited from republican) at heart.

It's a trivia contest team. Not a list of anti-character traits. Work on your subtlety. Clearly my list was the pinnacle, apex, acme, peak, zenith, crest, summit and crown of subtlety.

No need to be nasty -- I can't help it if TM likes me more than he likes you. (Everything is a popularity contest, you know.)

I need to work on my vibe. People are thinking I'm a lesbian. First there were the women that another friend and I picked up when we were hottubbing, and last night, my friend McKay pointedly told me about how his daughter is in town and he really, really wants us to meet. It's possible that McKay just wants us to hang out, but I got the distinct impression that he wants to set us up.
Any pointers on how to project "no, though sometimes I think it'd make my life easier, I'm not a lesbian."
On the bright side a male artist did invite me to "go back to the studio" last night, so perhaps I'm giving off some aura of liking dick.

Shouldn't it read:

paigow sez: Or maybe the bush administration thinks gay marriage is the most important issue, and want to lay the smackdown.

Ahhhh. This makes sense now. Of course, I was repeating, not inserting, the "theys," so you can see how in context one might be lead to believe that Paigow's "they" was the same as Slave's. And your interpretation makes it a non sequitor, which normally would make it the less logical, but I was ignoring the author when considering that aspect. I see.
It's obviously clear why I didn't go to YLS.

Ahh -- thank you for reminding me! Last night on my way home, I was going up Madison Ave past all the swanky stores, and in one particularly swank-o-rama (right past the oft-confused-with skank-o-rama Roberto Cavalli) window display were mannequins wearing SWEATERS AROUND THE NECK!!
TM -- you should really speak to them about it -- I know how important an issue this is for you.

Need the Country expert.
I took the Jeopardy Contestant Test a few years ago. You have to get 35/50 questions right, and they are $800 or $1000 questions. The first 5 included 2 country music questions. Not good.
