Paigow isn't Hunter Thompson-esq, that would be Sebastian. Paigow is probably more a Faulkner; William, not John.

He's going to make a mint from this movie and related stuff.
So he's got a little bit of Calvin in him. Good for him.

Lil Jon and the Eastside Boys. Lil Jon was a VP of A&R at Jermaine Dupri's SoSoDef label in Atlanta when he put out his first crunk record. That he was a successful record exec adds to the other side of the parody. IRL, he is crazier looking than Chappelle plays him.

To hear where his "OOOKAY" and other lines come from, listen to Usher's Yeah (which has been a number 1 single for a while, not exactly unknown to most of America, since you can hear it on the radio, and at dance clubs and kicker bars equally). All the yelling in the background is Lil Jon.

He has a few "famous" songs, but you probably live too far north of the M-D to have heard anything other than "Get Low" with the Ying-Tang Twins. You've heard "Get Low" if you have walked into a nightclub within the past 18 months (the line people remember is "to the window, to the wall, til the sweat drips off my . . .").

Even(had to play Yeah for the OM last night during commercials since he hangs at neither nightclubs nor kicker bars, nor listens to the radio)Odds

Savages.

I have yet to meet a Samples fan who wasn't full of shit.
I guess you haven't been to New Hampshire recently. Compared to New Hampshire, Vermont is a bustling, cultured, urban metropolis with pine trees and mountains. New Hampsire natives and locals make Mass-holes look sophisticated.

That state scares me.

I was (apparently in a Not Clear way) talking about Sebby, not Paigow. Apologies.

But the real reason I am responding to you is to note that I am a fan of your avatar -- the seasonal hats, etc. Love it. But I sense that there is an inside joke regarding the guy in the picture. Should I recognize him?

I say this without hint of sarcasm or hyperbole - Dave Chappelle is the funniest comedian since early 80s Eddie Murphy (Comedian, Delirious) and late 70s Richard Pryor (Live on the Sunset Strip). He's even transcended Carlin's abilities in the arena of biting social commentary (Niggar family).

I don't think you're hearing the final word right in the following sentence:

"There goes SD. He sure is __upid.

ETA: Shapeshifter beat me to it and did it better.

Dude, you're never going to make it through Spring training. The ball was already in the catcher's mitt.

He sounds hilarious. I don't really listen to the radio (FM that is) or watch MTV, so I haven't heard or seen Usher's song/video. And I haven't been to a nightlcub in a while. I should though. Since I can dance:

Edited to add that I couldn't find a pic of The Fresh Prince's Carlton dancing. Anywhere. Maybe Alfonso had them pulled.
