Given its apparent randomness, I thought it was your password for your various stuff IRL, and considered it rather gutsy.
Now that I know better, well ...
No offense, but I think I preferred my ignorance.

Good question. Outside of Charleston, SC, I can only imagine one or two other locales that would even consider it.
SF wasn't one of them.

Since it happens so rarely, I can't pass up this opportunity to agree with Bilmore. Again, not that it matters.

I'm confused. Unhappy about the old or the new avatar?

Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that.

I seem to be missing everything today. What's wrong with the avatar?

I'm probably whiffing, but it's Audrey Seiler, the girl who faked her abduction. It's just sad.

I know there are a bunch of movies, but they aren't THE Jerky Boys. I've never even seen them. There are also a bunch of CDs, but they aren't THE Jerky Boys. THE Jerky Boys are the topes that we passed around and listened to them until they started to screech and hiss in the late 80s and early 90s. Juvenile, perhaps, but funny as hell.

The story is definitely sad, and I think it's kind of bullshit they charged her. She obviously had some mental illness, plus she slept in a Wisconsin marsh for five days in March.
That said, her picture and name are all over, and I don't think that it's appropriate to use a public picture as my avatar for a while. But perhaps others disagree. If people actually find it callous or in poor taste, I'll take it down.
A lot of the people I know think that they should have arrested her, charged her with a felony, etc. I think that those are all people who have never had the misfortune of being chronically depressed.

Yeah, that's pretty much my basis for not liking it. She's just screwed up, and I doubt she had a clue what the consequences would be.
