Maybe if a kid ran out onto the road, but there was nothing in the road to swerve from. I just don't get the connection between, minor explosion in the car = hard right turn. Why not just brake.
Breaking hard with a full load can cause a truck to go out of control. What's the matter with you? Usually, you seem so thoughtful and intelligent. I would have thought you'd have seen the Smokey & the Bandit movies, or at least caught a few episodes of BJ & the Bear.

Why are we arguing about this? Don't you have any wildlife stories to tell? Am I going to have to start sharing cat stories?
No rabbits, no quail, no deer. Just three bored cats sitting on the balcony.

Why don't you let them actually go out. Why are they confined to a balcony.

Why did you think it was a hard right turn. Do you have pictures of the tire marks or something. Are you withholding evidence.

Edited to remove the question marks.

when the deer come back I think it might be good to shoot bottle rockets at them so he can see some real world responses.

I like this tone. I imagine you speaking with kind of unplaceable Middle European accent and brandishing a long cigarette holder. It conveys a certain sense of sophisticated & cosmopolitan ennui and gives me some insight into why Hank is so smitten with you. Rowr!

Again I say, Lawtalkers desperately needs a webcam function.

That photo was taken as we were burying Spanky's significant other as he had caught her cheating on the internets. I told you, he's muy macho. The only reason I helped is because he still has the negatives for certain photos I'm not proud of.

Bottle rocket hits driver; truck overturns

Tuesday, July 5, 2005; Posted: 12:47 p.m. EDT (16:47 GMT)

Manage Alerts | What Is This? ATLANTA, Georgia (AP) -- A fuel tanker crashed and sprung a small leak early Tuesday after the driver was hit by a bottle rocket as he drove past a group of youths, authorities said.

The driver was seriously injured, and two or three nearby apartment buildings were evacuated as a precaution, they said.

The truck struck a curb and a fire hydrant before tumbling down an embankment into a parking lot.

A small amount of fuel leaked from a valve but firefighters quickly contained it, police Sgt. J.L. Hensal said. "The truck stayed pretty much intact," he said.

Police Sgt. Kevin Iosty said no arrests had been made.

The truck driver, Rafael Diaz, had just passed a group of eight to 11 juveniles on the side of the road when one of them fired a bottle rocket into the truck cab, hitting him in the head, Iosty said.

Diaz, 29, of Woodstock, was being treated at Grady Memorial Hospital for serious facial and head injuries, Iosty said.
I love that you are trying to stir up dicussion on your eponymous board. I am not sure any other poster could pull this off.

As I understand it from reading the What Do Deer Eat board, the cats have the option to come and go as they please. Spanky generally leaves the sliding glass door open facing his backyard that is in his frontyard so that the children can wander in and out as they please. He only shuts it when that mean looking, Apple but not APricot, eating buck shows up and gives menacing looks to spanky llike he wants to make him his bitch. This doesnt explain the cat seclusion though.

SO the cats sound more lazy than bored. Maybe its from having too many litter boxers at their disposal.
