Maybe he thinks Cuba's getting puffy from carbs, or needs more fiber.

should have been "roles". My bad. The hostility arises from the fact that he's a talented guy who does crap like this gay cruise flick and that disney sled dog thing. It's all crap. Then again, I supposes that expecting a hollywood actor to possess artistic integrity is a bit much to ask.

They do in fact make a vanilla vodka. And the cherry sounds pretty yummy too.

It'll be our little secret. By the way, will you be looking for a speedy winger who isn't afraid to muck around in the corners?

Oh. Wait. I'm too young to be a Leaf.

Darling, I've missed you most of all.

Holy Shit, Man!

"McLEAN, Virginia (AP) -- The pain in Carol Weihrer's eye was so severe she decided to have it surgically removed, believing it was the only way to get on with life.

Instead, the surgery was the beginning of an unending nightmare. Her anesthesia failed, leaving her awake but paralyzed for a five-hour surgery in which doctors cut and gouged to remove her right eye."

What a fucking nightmare. I can't even imagine how horrible this would be.

ewwwww. That sounds like a Stephen King story I read where a guy was in a body bag but paralyzed and alert and the doctor was getting ready to do an autopsy because everyone thought he was dead. Tense story.

From the article: "Roger Litwiller, a Roanoke anesthesiologist and president of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, said it's important to keep the issue in perspective -- that awareness during surgery occurs only in about one or two of every 1,000 procedures."

One or two of every 1000? That seems like a hell of a lot of times. Jesus. I can't even begin to imagine how terrifying that must be.

I am unable to read the article (because i might throw up) but can you feel the pain?

eta something sorta similar happened to me when I was getting wisdom teeth out, hence the heightened squeamishness. I felt no pain, and it didn't last long, but it was AWFUL.

eata I have dreams where something very bad is about to happen or is happening and I can't move and I can't scream, and it seems like that may be related to the wisdom teeth thing but it also seems like it would be a common dream. gwnc?
