LOS ANGELES - Courtney Love tearfully admitted using drugs in violation of her probation terms Friday. The rocker-actress was ordered into a 28-day drug treatment program by a judge who said he had wanted to put her in jail.
“I think that you need to hit rock bottom before you make a decision about what you’re going to do in the future,” Superior Court Judge Rand Rubin told the sobbing Love.
At a red carpet event this month, Love said: “I’m clean and sober for over a year and no one seems to care! They’re like, ’Oh, her dramatic weight gain.’ So, stop making fun of me!”
At least we know it's not coke.

You only thought she looked wasted, Sherlock? The part where she fell and tackled Pam didn't push it over to certainty for you? How about the way she slouched and rolled around on the couch and did that thing where she lifted one leg up practically over her head when she laughed?
sebby, remove NFH from your list of potential Private Dick contacts.

Actually, I like the name Sebastian, and my wife even seemed to think that it would be a good name for a son. But I’ve ruined it. I can never use it. I’d have a child who reminded me of myself...
BTW, what’s a “stiffer?” I tip 15% for bad service, 20% for good.

Why do you do that? Don't wait staff at inexpensive restaurants who provide excellent service deserve a bigger tip than the surly waiter at Arroyo Chop House*?
I tip somewhere between $4-$15 for a two person meal, depending on a lot of things; the size of the check is one factor, but not the only one.
*I've never had a bad waiter at Arroyo; I was just trying to think of an expensive restaurant.

Translation: I'm important and eat at fancy restaurants. Did I mention I went to Yale?
I resisted, but I just couldn't hold it. Sometimes you got to take the slow pitch.

Oh, we've moved up to "I'm important, eat at fancy restaurants, went to Yale, and am the expertest at the whole having a kid thing, including pregnancy and how it feels to the pregnant woman."

OMG this is so far from the truth as to be laughable. I dislike going to restaurants, mostly because of the exorbitant mark-up on everything and the time suck. And this was BEFORE I became a father.
I don't think the theme of my earlier post (tipping far less than most people do at pricier restaurants) is consistent with your interpretation of my supposed intended sub-text.
Furthermore the NYC crew here (probably the LA crew too) would laugh at the notion that Arroyo Chop House is a "fancy restaurant." In the world of places to which I've been more than once, it's at the pricier end. But many people here would probably call it "intermediate"
Finally, the fact that I like RT, and RT likes you, does not preclude me from thinking that you are a dumbass.

And how fucking stupid is she to go on a tv show wasted while on probation for drug stuff? This is beyond a Wyland. It's a fucking Daniel Baldwin move.

This was just my way of saying "2." - to Sebby's buddies (as far as I feel, and what my wife has expressed to me). Everyone else's mileage may vary.
And swipe or no swipe on this old school Flame Friday, I do not think that you are a dumbass. Your posts lately have been fantastique. I'm converting to fringeyism.

I miss the East Coast people. I fear that both my internet girlfriend and my internet piece on the side are gone for the day. How can I get a good flame war going if the people in NY are out for cocktails already?
Woe is me.

Maybe you should consider changing avatars again? Or photoshop some teeth and claws into that one? Hanky, help a sister out?

But she SAID she was CLEAN and SOBER.
And whoever made the comment about "if you're clean and sober honey, you have other really big problems" something like that.
Oh yeah, and flashing her crotch to the crowd and the slurred speech could have been a clue.
