I can't belive how helpful I've been all in one day. You're screwed. This happened to me and luckily I knew what date they thought it was (b/c I'd received some random IRS mailing 6 mos earlier and dnoticed my birth month was a month off and thought it was just a machine typo)...I went to the SS office and they said it would take several weeks to straighten out and to just put the wrong date on my efiling and it would go through and next year use the correct number....well, somehow the SS admin forgot to keep pushing my "correction" and it actually took a few months. File with the wrong date i tell you (if you want to efile) or file with the correct date on paper. Don't wait for them to straighten it out.

They won't tell me what year they have on file over the phone. Have to stand on line at the SS office to find that out. I'm curious to find out how old I am.

I filed with my correct date on paper, like I always have. Silly me for trying to get all fancy with the electronic filing.

I don't expect every tiny icecream store to provide wifi, but if you're a good sized hotel charging even better-sized prices, can't you throw your visitors a bone and spread the joy of internet?
