Sounds like both of us are lucky. Events of this week keep reminding me that it can end any day, so count your blessings and don't take them for granted.

Damn, now we're starting to sound like my sappy facebook exchanges.

I've found that when I fail to appreciate what I got, the best thing to do is go look elsewhere. Usually doesn't measure up. Of course, Obama hasn't yet offered me an ambassadorship.

This is a major change in tone from the original GA board.

But some of the other lawyers are my partners.

So I think Hank's "factotums" works better. Unless, of course, you're talking about my factotums' minions.

Alcee Hastings was impeached by Congress when he was a federal judge. I would imagine that he truly doesn't give a fuck.

Texas restricts the number of dildos you can own, but not the number of guns?

According to the article, it wasn't a restriction so much as an evidentiary presumption that if you owned more than six, you were “promoting” them.

If Texas had a similar presumption for guns, they’d sell by the half-dozen.

Not anymore. Gregg Abbot lost that particular case.

You guys don't remember this? For the first half dozen years or so of this board, I ranted and raved against that law and openly defied it.
