I watched a few minutes of it (thanks to the handy recording live tv function on the Tivo).

[spoiler warning in case anyone cares]

He picked Jessica and did not propose but did tell her that he loved her. She said she couldn't ask for anything more, gush, gush, etc. He gave her a one-way first class ticket to NYC.

Then they brought Tara in and he did the 5 minute schpeil about how great she is. She added "But" and then he said he fell in love with someone else. The best part of the show followed when she told him off for leading her on and said that things were said and done on the last date that were "inappropriate" if he was planning to pick someone else. She spent about 5 minutes telling him off and then didn't break down or anything in the limo. She came off pretty well actually. I have no opinion of her from the remainder of the season because I only started watching last week.

thought she was drinking in the hotel room. and she was acting like a drunk barfer: "sorry, sorry I never do this." looked to me like a scene about, say, 11 pm at a sorority formal.

I guess I didn't back the Tivo up far enough to see the puking portion. Still think she came off well in the portion I saw. Though middle america must be horrified (horrified!) that she puked on the way to her final date. Wonder if she'll have to disclose that during her next game of I Never.

Get off the ride fattie!

Cedar Point Puts Size Limit On Coaster Riders

Some Cedar Point visitors may need to shed a few pounds to ride one of the park's most popular coasters.

NewsChannel5's Linda Passariello reported how new seatbelt positions on the Millennium Force may not fit some of the coaster's bigger riders.

The ride has thrilled millions since it opened in 2000, but some riders who've been on Millennium in the past are now being turned away.

Two summers ago, Tony Ventresco, of Youngstown, had no problem riding the roller coaster.

But now, Ventresco, along with other borderline bigger riders, are finding the Millennium's seatbelts a little snugger.

Cedar Point officials say the ride's manufacturer mandated the seatbelt brackets be repositioned after a man was killed when he fell off the Superman coaster at Six Flags New England.

"What it does is make it a little more snug, tight, and, unfortunately, prevents some riders who were able to ride in last year from riding it this year," said Robin Innes, public relations director at Cedar Point.

"I'm not much larger than anybody else ... I feel it would be unfair ... I'd be a little upset if they said I couldn't ride," said Ventresco.

Signs are posted, and ride operators pull questionable guests out of line to try the test seat.

But some guests make it all the way onto the ride before they realize the seatbelt's a tight squeeze.

It not only has to fit, there has to be a certain amount of slack on the belt before the riders get a "thumbs up" to ride.

So far, Millennium Force is the only ride affected by the stricter seatbelt guideline.

Cedar Point admits they've had some complaints, but they also point out their Web site, where they talk about size limitations for certain rides.

On a positive note, I'm sure that they will still be able to eat all the funnel cakes they want while they watch their skinny friends ride the coaster.

Penske is on hiatus, but he misses you all and loves you all like the brothers and sisters he never had, or may have had, as the case may be. I hope this clears things up.

Why I believe Andy Kaufman is alive

I now know that it is virtually impossible to get lung cancer, let alone die from it at 35.

I also have a vague recollection of arguing about this with my significant other having believed I saw him somewhere.

My uncle died from it at 42. He was younger (40?) when he got it.

I am wearing flat-front pants purchased recently from the Banana Republic -- with a blue shirt, and if that doesn't out me in this town, I dunno what will -- and am hung up on the fact that Jack Manfred said they are low-waisted. (For those checking this convo against the on-line catalog or their closets, we are talking about Dawson or Gavin.) If these are low-waisted, then what does high-waisted look like? Do I wear my belt near my nipples with them? It seems odd to me that the waist on these pants would be too low for anyone. OTOH, I shared this view with my wife this a.m., and she opined that I always wear pants low. OK, now I have completed outed myself, so I may as well mention that it is my custom to wear cargo kilts and matching kerchiefs on casual Fridays. Carry on.

You mean like sagging? Do your Joe Boxers show above the "waist" line? Do you skateboard?

I can't imagine wearing jeans or pants that didn't sit low now. I hate the look of pants at the waist for women.
