Ah, classic "but it's just totally different in my case!" no-argument response.
It honestly never occurred to me that I would have to explictly say "I think strip clubs are sexist." What is this, fucking 1960 that the idea is a shock to anyone? And how a woman reacts to her husband going to a strip club obviously depends at least in part on her opinion on certain gender issues. I made my personal opinion clear, but also explicitly said "each to em's own"--so how that's imposing my own values on everyone else is beyond me.
I stand by my observation that lots of folks have a double-standard of what sexuality-related conduct they'd tolerate in themselves vs. their partner. Lots don't, that's great. But to deny it exists in some cases is just flat-out ridiculous.

No. Backwards. (Again.) If he is not okay with his wife going to strip clubs, the whole argument is blown. Unless you're pj.

She probably has perfume and glitter on. I'd be careful.
WTF kind of strip club has a sign prohibiting the strippers from being strippers? More importantly, what strippers are willing to give up their glitter and their stripper perfume? What kind of crap strip club is that? What, bilmore, what? And if there is no perfume and no glitter and no anything, then you cannot participate in the "how does one obliterate the signs of strip-club attendance" conversation. You are ineligible and/or estopped.
And, TKMPCD, raouaouaoal, so if you wife gave a good enough lap dance that although no hands were laid upon her ass or breasts, there was enough her-initiated bodily contact to make the guy come, is that over the line? I'm asking as a favor to MR. ADL may also be able to answer this question.

One of the weakest points of your argument was that particular point, actually. Maybe you hang with some neanderthals or something, but I haven't met a man that I would even consider dating who would have a problem with me going to Chippendales or whatever male equivalent you care to come up with.* Men would generally love for their wives to go to Chippendales or a strip club (women dancers) or any other activity that involves the likelihood of the wife getting turned on and therefore wanting to fuck like crazy when she arrived home.
*as an aside, the fact that there is no real female outing equivalent is a valid point in the Are Strip Clubs Sexist debate.

My observations on this silly debate are as follows:
1. There is a double standard. Some men expect women to be perfect virginal archetypes, yet demand they condone the man's indulgence in porn, strip clubs, etc.. That's hypocritical. If you can do it, so can your partner. Fair is fair.
2. If you have a problem wioth your partner seeing naked bodies in a silly drunken club, you're a fucking tool and/or you're fucking insecure about yourself, and you should get over your pathetic hang-up. I have yet to see confident woman get mad about her husband hitting a strip club. Its always chicks with body issues or low self confidence. The man should known better than to marry such an imbecile, so I blame him. He build a shitty nest by picking a defective partner, let him deal with it. For this reason, I hate "covering" for guy friends who have to hide shit from their spouses. If you have to hid something as inocuous as a strip club visit from your wife, you shouldn't have married her.

nfh, Shapey doesn't love his penis- he despises it. His mom taught him that it only makes him have bad thoughts. half the times she put him in the closet was for touching himself "there."
sometimes his penis wins, and he does things to it, but he is always quick to go to confession the next day.

Which makes perfect sense in the context of your idiotic statements. Especially when not one man on this board said they would have a problem with their wife going. And not one woman (besides you) said they would start wasting marital assets as revenge before trying to get everything they could in a divorce.

Observation? Where did you observe this in your response to that article? Please point out where the double standard actually is in that article.
Didn't think so. You made an assertion. And it was a stupid one.
