Check. No need to agree on the reason, I ran out of episodes. Seinfeld quotes I can still do, right?

After the last I admitted he didn't really keep the painting at home, and that I just used it as an insult device. It was the last one.

That was dropped. Lately, he just tells me I'm not funny after I do an intentionally stupid response to your pompous guy act.

Accord. The auto companies use these few weeks to display their new concept cars at the LA and Detroit auto shows. No reason the brain trust of this forum shouldn't do the same. I am tapped, but please, carry on in introducing the new era.

cross post
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...p/people_moore
So Yahoo runs a story about how drug companies are warning employees that Michael Moore might show up for surprise interviews. To generate a "photo gallery" they do a google-like image search and this is the second image
Seems it ran with a report from an oceanographer named Michael Moore.

But I did see "The Life Aquatic." Not a bad flick. Typical Wes Anderson. But I'll say this much: The Rescue scene by itself is worth the price of admission.

Apparently you can't get this here in the States (this guy had been traveling in France). As for me, even in my travels I have never seen this stuff in the US or elsewhere.
Anyone knows how it stacks up to the Blue Label? I'm figuring if its crap I can send it to my brother who I still have not got a Chistmas present for, although if its good, I'm keeping it for late nights in the office.
So?

The green is the single malt. It doesn't stack up to Blue. Apples and oranges. If you're asking whether its as expensive a gift as Blue, no. It can be had for around $45 a liter at most duty free shops.
And I think it is now available in the states as well, so its not exotic anymore.
Go with Oban for single malt. Tasty shit.

It was only a few days and they didn't hook up completely but they kept up a mean correspondence (they are now married with 3 kids). She didn't want to waste time with a lousy lover so she sent him a really long questionnaire asking how he would or would not do A, B, or C and how. And included stuff like "describe how you would use your tongue." He wasn't offended and was really into the fact that she was into sex that much. He said he loved filling out the racy questionnaire and was really shocked to get it. For her, she mostly wanted to know how into oral sex he was because she is obsessed with it (both ways).

That is a great idea. But it would kind of kill all the fun of trying to find out how much sexual experimentation your SO will tolerate.

Do you drink Blue as your "normal" scotch? I don't know anyone who goes that high for normal scotch drinking. Black is usually the working level.

I hate to be a killjoy, but I have it on good authority* that your wife is game for anything as long as any animals involved don't have hooves (I guess one has to have standards) and any mess can be cleaned up with a steam cleaner in less than an hour.

Hank, what is this post about? Sebastian did no claim in his post that Blue was his "normal" scotch. In fact, he specifically stated that Blue was the most expensive of the Johnnie Walker scotches. I inferred from his post that Blue was a "special occasion" scotch, not his "normal" scotch. Am I missing something here? What did we just talk about a few posts back?

Gold or Red (or Chevas, Glenlivet, Oban or Glenfiddich). I hate the Black. I have about four bottles of it that I received as gifts this year. Send me a FedEx voucher and I'll mail you the shit.

In an occassional series ("Lessons learned by RT, so you don't have to"), I point out that if you're going to drink a lot of vodka on Christmas night* and then jump into a very heated pool for an hour (time sort of got away for me for awhile, so that's a rough guess), drink lots and lots of water or the hangover will be one of the worst of your life. It may have been worth it to hear "holy shit, they ARE real," though. No, nevermind. Nothing was worth the hour of dry heaving.
Snow on Christmas eve in Houston, Texas is very, very cool.
A family member has Sirius and loves it. He subscribes to every audiophile and gadget magazine out there, and I believe he did considerable research. I have been happy with the programming so far.
re: Sex without having to date. Uh, doesn't anyone else check out the casual encounters section over at craigslist?
Kinsey was a good movie, if a little formulaic. Life Aquatic is next on the list, though it may be bumped by A Very Long Engagement.
Reverend RT still has to figure out what to say in this wedding ceremony this weekend.
re: Movie reviews. Uh, doesn't anyone else check out the synopsis reviews over at rottentomatoes or metacritic?
*Not to mention the mimosas and wine during Christmas day.

No problem. I have video too, and not that night-vision garbage, either. Call me when you get your bonus.

I really don't have much of a social life. All I know is what I see on TV or movies. People drink Black in the movies, but I've never seen Blue.

Jesus, at least give a footnote credit to George Bernard Shaw here.

He wrote Eighties music? Damn. I need to read more reviews.
