Who did it? - because I've seen Kevin Spacey's version and it is friggin' uncanny.

Better question:
Are Gordon and brethren going to stop ending their sets with "New Orleans is Sinking"?
It seems a bit tasteless at the moment - but how do they not play that song?
Canadians - please discuss.

Funny thing is, right around the next year or so, B&B goes to mmmmm5678's city for a concert. They hook up and start this long distance relationship and start posting about it too much.
At least I remember that happening to 2 posters, and I think it was those two. I can't go back and check because Paigow has locked access to archives to just her closest.

My favorites for final 3 are Mig, Marty and JD. I really love Marty. He's so intense. But I just don't think he's right for the band. Although I'd watch him in another band in a heartbeat. He's a little too dark for INXS.
Mig is the perfect fit - he's the closest match to Michael Hutchins. Even though JD is a better singer.
I thought that Michael Hutchins killed himself, but now someone is telling me that it was auto-erotic asphyxiation. Is this true?

I don't know how you missed the news, but it was well-reported at the time. I am watching the show, despite my general hatred of the AI-type format. I guess it is fair for this show.
I cannot comment on my final three picks until is see who was eliminated last night, but I'll get back to you then. I take it that none of your final 3 were eliminated, Ms. Spoiler Space Rules Ignorer.
I agree that Marty is not right for INXS and their catalog, and I agree that he'll end up somewhere else in a more Navarro-esque band. If the losers aren't signing their lives away to INXS, it seems to me it would be better to come in second than to win this thing. All the exposure, no need to subdue or kill your own creative spark by linking up with an 80's band on the concert circuit.

Poker Tournament Update
Alas, I will not be playing today in the final table of the Ladies Night WPT event. I'm sure you are all shocked. I actually had an earlier exit than I would have anticipated on a pretty bad beat. But that freed up my evening to go into the other room and watch the final table for the upcoming season's Legends of Poker tournament. I am an audience participant. I'll have to watch the show when it is broadcast to determine whether my performance as Audience Member is IMDB-worthy or not. I sat two rows behind a guy with his face painted blue, for those of you Tivoing the upcoming season.
I have a WPT spoiler or two (not relating to the actual tournament), so if you are interested, highlight and read the white text below:
Shauna Hiatt is gone. The official version is that she left the show because she is getting married in October. Maybe married people don't generally hold jobs or something, I don't know. The unofficial speculation is that she is gone because her ex- is pretty high up in the production of the show and he wanted her gone. The new chick sux. 5 foot nothing, blonde, tanned bimbette. Mr Man was distraught when I broke the news.

Any of you urbanites considering a move to the bucolic outer-reaches of your city, please read the following:
The other night, a bat flew into my house. I know we have bats in the rafters, and behind the shutters outside, but I'd never seen one IN THE HOUSE! Yikes. We were hunting it down (armed with brooms -- OK, fine. I wasn't armed with anything but my girly shrieks) and closing doors to trap it in a room. I went upstairs (b/c I didn't think it would be up there), and noticed something moving around in my son's room. It was then that the shrieking started in earnest. My son was fast asleep, but we turned on all the lights, slammed the doors, and two adults went after the bat with brooms. I helped by shrieking some more. My older son got out a belt (for protection), and after some more hollering and swatting, the bat had flapped its last. (RIP, bat)
The sleeping boy was never the wiser. I have to say, I can't look at the toy rubber bats my kids have in quite the same way anymore. I actually think bats are kind of cute -- when they're outside!!
You've been warned.

It's not really an AI format as the band mates have the final decision about who stays and who goes. Being in the bottom 3 is not necessarily a death sentence.
I won't spoil the bottom 3 for you, but 2 of them were destined to leave this week or next.
And there's some controversy at the end when the loser gives a good-bye speech. So really, I've spoiled nothing for you.

I've had Zeppelin's "When The Levee Breaks" in my head for the past few days. Great song.
ETA: led-zeppelin.com has a great tribute to NOLA and victims on the Gulf Coast.

2 You have 2 other adults living with you? Is 1 staff or are you part of a polygamy family.

I don't know if I would take the painful (although I hear they have gotten better) shots over the miniscule chance of them having rabies and transmitting it to your kids, but the accepted treatment of any exposure to bats where you can't be sure that the person hasn't been bitten or scratched (e.g. sleeping child in the same room) is the painful shots (in the stomach?). Hopefully you're sure there was no exposure - you might want to talk to your pediatrician anyway.

I am not especially spoiler sensitive, but you have in fact spoiled something by telling me that 3 of the 6 are stil around. That was a spoiler. I don't particularly care, and I'll watch it at some point anyway, but I think your characterization is wrong. And winning meaningless fights is what this board is all about, no?
