If you're going to return your sex toys, do yourself a favor and avoid embarassment by taking out the batteries first.
BERLIN - An inflatable sex doll sparked a bomb alert in a German post office after it started to vibrate inside a package awaiting delivery, police said Wednesday. (I didn't know those dolls had that option - Shifter?)
“Workers were unsettled when it began vibrating and made strange noises,” a spokesman for police in the eastern city of Chemnitz said. “They were worried the package might be a bomb.”
Officers brought the sender to the scene and discovered the source of alarm was an electrical device inside the life-size female sex doll. The man told police he had wanted to return the doll because it kept turning itself on at the wrong moment.
Order was restored after the sender removed the doll’s batteries so the defective product could be returned.

I'm going to call this one in for Loveline (Adam Carolla and Dr. Drew) for a rousing game of "Germany or Florida." Best regular segment on radio -- the premise is that all bizarre stuff happens in Germany or Florida; callers call in with news items and Adam and Drew have to guess whether it took place in Germany or Florida.
If y'all haven't listened to Loveline in awhile, you're missing out.

You mean like the clearance TO didn't have?
Although, yeah, I can see packing it in after that. Since I'm not a doctor, though, is this something that football increases the likelihood of recurrence? Or are there other risks he faces? Strokes usually occur from inactivity and clotting, unlike heart attacks that result from (partially) overexertion.

Yes, but I was focusing on the face, which as noted with respect to Kirstie Alley, is (in one of the many cruel twists that women have to accept) only helped by excess fat as one ages.

Catherine Deneuve once said that, once she reaches 40, a woman has to choose between her face and her ass. I guess one could say Kirstie has chosen her face with a vengeance.

I may boycott Slate for this one...

Anyway, here's the offensive part:
- But all that's only mildly nauseating compared to the most repulsive part of UK basketball: Ashley Judd, superfan. It's one thing for celebrities like Jack Nicholson and Spike Lee to flaunt their wealth courtside during a pro game. But watching the aging ingénue don pigtails to prove she can relate to the commoners of the commonwealth is just sad. First, she punishes us with dreck like Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood. Now, she pollutes UK telecasts because TV directors can't resist endless cutaways of Wynonna's sister. Yeah, yeah, she knows her basketball. She also dated Michael Bolton. Let's not go nuts glorifying her critical reasoning skills.
If Kentucky wins the title, Judd will probably try to shoehorn Tubby Smith into the role of Big Daddy in her next dinner-theater production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Let's hope Duke or Syracuse eliminates Chuck Hayes and Co. If the Wildcats go all the way, my stomach might never recover.—Robert Weintraub

I'm moving Kentucky up in my picks.

I don't know if Catherine Deneuve actually said that, or if she has merely been quoted on this Board as having said it so many times that everyone here attributes it to her.

She said it. I was there. Gwnc can attest to it, bercause she was with me, although I did not have my hands down her pants. Nor did she have her hands down mine, a problem I have never managed to correct.

Well, trotting out that tired Catherine Deneuve quote isn't endearing. Women are fully aware of the cruel twists and don't need to be reminded of them, particularly not by men.
By the way, what does a man have to choose between at 40?
