Incidentally, I know of a special forces guy back in the states on leave for a few weeks. He is fairly cute and quite intelligent (he teaches at Westpoint when not killing people in exotic foreign lands), single and always wants to be introduced to the hot, sophisticated NYC chicks of legend. In general, when he has been in town in the past, I have known few hot, sophisticated, non-psycho single NYC chicks to introduce him to. (Hot sophisticated psychos are a dime a dozen in NYC, of course.)

But now you're single. If he comes into the city, wanna be set up?
hmm. Any interesting scars?

(and thank you for including me in the hot, sophisticated and non-psycho category).

Have you met Penske? The neuroses are not that interesting, unless you are the tipe you finds woopie cushions and plastic fake dog poop to be the height of humour.

Thanks Sidd. Good to hear from a mid skooler like yourself. And I dig the analogy. Sorta like those days when I contemplate tking Less off the IL. Which reminds me, if he ever says anything good, could someone IM me or something? HE used to be a good soloid twenty percenter but that has dropped off in a Flowery manner so that his cyberspittle outweighs any wit in the ole IL balancing test.

Can someone get Connect the Dots back? Juicyfruit Salad and I are bored. I promise to get him off the IL.

Maybe I just ask this because a partner at my old firm had a niece who spent her 20th summer working at the firm. Un-Real.

Do you think Benicio Del Toro and George CLooney are readlly gonna marry their respective girlfriends? Whats happenin at the Chateau?

Pinot Noir is a burgundy. In fact, it is about the only burgundy widely available these days. Unless you were talking about that crap that comes in boxes.

I think she meant she likes the French stuff better than California/Oregon/NZ pinot. But I could be wrong.

White burgandy (aka Chablis, aka "chardonay") ain't exactly hard to come by, least around these parts.

I was talking about the reds. But your point is well taken. Happy Post-Ollie Day!

Sorry. Something of a post-Ollie Day hangover, I suppose. Caused, in part, by the consumption of local pinot noir. Followed by some cheap but reasonably tastey Italian red. Followed by some insanely fruity mid-level Austrialian Shiraz. Oh, and some bourban too. They were all Great!
Sounds like someone needs to take his bedding to the drycleaners. Is this an annual event like Boxing Day?

Every January 5. What, were you raised by wolves? Or ostriches?

Sadly, it's been a while since I've had a chance to really shit in Atticus's bed. I've been settling for Sebby's soft alcoholism of middle age.

This is the worst kind of post. Its not even phoning it in. Its picking up the phone and dialing the area code and hanging up . Why did you feel compelled to bother? Sometimes I read a post and consider making a witty retort, or joke, or mock of some sort, but just don't feel like following through. I generally tend to keep scrolling at times like those. Stick with your socks, Wood. They seem to have more energy.

Welcome back, MFOS

With the wine glut, what used to come in a $29 bottle can now be had in an $11 box.

But it's not nearly as pretty.

When I read pointless, tired, stalker-sock posts like that, it makes me wonder what Penske was doing for material before I came back.
