2. I'm already doing two eliminator pools, so I'm not sure I'll remember to enter a pick here every week, but I'll try.

3. I would just wait to see how many people enter and then have the contribution scale down so that the winner donates nothing, last place donates the most. I agree that it doesn't seem right for those in the lead to have to pay more, but that's just me.

I appear to have my entry linked into the group at this point. Ready to go.
1. I agree. They suck. And I am a spanish speaker too. But they do all the pool leg work for you, like keeping track of what teams people have already picked, etc...

3. That's fine with me. Since it's all on our honor anyway, and as you know, most of us have none.

What material? silk? Shorts or speedo?

It's embarrassing. We held our fantasy football draft on ESPN.com, and the java application kept disconnecting people. Managers were inadvertently drafting 3 QBs in a row b/c they couldn't re-connect. We cancelled that draft and moved back to yahoo. I hate ESPN. It's time for ESPN to have some real competition. Just copy whatever ESPN was doing ten years ago (when it was still good).

I saw a guy at the beach yesterday in a real banana hammock. Not a speedo, but one of those male stripper hammocks. I actually think it was a Candid Camera type of thing. He picked a spot to lay out right in the middle of this big group of people...and then got up ten minutes later. He was also carrying a briefcase.

He actually reminded me of DeNunzio from Caddyshack.

It had to be a joke. This was a string bikini with a pouch for his junk.

You have apparently never been to beaches frequented by German or French gentlemen.

You were distracted by the nipple fights, apparently.

I can't say I blame you for where you focused your attention.

Great point. There were many topless 18-yr old girls frolicking in the surf.

I saw Oprah this morning giving a "motivational speech" to the homeless currently living in the Astrodome. She called their former housing (the Superdome) a disgusting place. She was wearing a very very snug top to show off her recent weight loss/gain (I cannot keep up anymore) and did not have her hair done - which I thought was a nice touch considering the audience. I am surprised she did not give them all cars. Or t-shirts. Or something.

I believe coltrane has made clear this was an Italian-American person. A "guido" if you will.
