The laughs were a lot more on the adult side in New York when Kimberly Guilfoyle Newsom took the stage at Thursday night's big Empire State Pride Agenda fund-raiser.
Guilfoyle Newsom was a last-minute sub for her husband at the gay rights event, which drew 1,100 guests. By all accounts, Guilfoyle Newsom -- who lives in New York and is a regular on Court TV -- gave an inspired speech.
But what really brought the house down was when she started talking about her hubby.
"I know that many of you wanted to see my husband and some of you had questions out there,'' Guilfoyle Newsom said.
"Is he hot? Yeah.
"Is he hung? Yeah.
"Is he (she waved her hand to suggest bisexual)? Not unless you can give a better (she mimicked eating a banana) than me,'' Guilfoyle Newsom said.
The mayoral bride's remarks have become the talk of San Francisco City Hall.
"You know we believe in open government and we support full disclosure,'' said Newsom press aide Peter Ragone, tongue firmly in cheek.
Could this picture be any more nauseating?

Didn't they just announce that they are getting a divorce?

From SI's Ten Spot:
"Fox announcer Joe Buck expressed disgust with Sunday's antics by Vikings wide receiver Randy Moss, who pretended to moon the Green Bay crowd and rubbed his rear end against the goal post after scoring his second touchdown. The network later reported that even Moss' father was disappointed, though it turned out that Moss' dad was actually played by an extra from Who's Your Daddy?.
Buck, for one, hadn't seen an athlete do anything so self-centered and disrespectful since his last Leon commercial."

Yes. Thus the interest in their sex life. Or lack thereof.
Some rumors about an election intern on an unreliable website - so who knows. But that picture. ack.

Good for him. If a cameraman is close enough to be shoved, then tough shit. I would shove some asshole with a camera all up in my face too. Take a few steps back and use the damn zoom.

I was at that event [The Empire State Pride Agenda Annual Fall Dinner] and, in context, Ms. Newsom wasn't *that* outrageous. She followed the saucy remarks of others. That aside, wives of politicos should temper their remarks (see, e.g., TH Kerry).
BTW, former New Jersey governor McGreevey was at that event -- his first public appearance at a gay & lesbian fund raiser as an "out" gay man.

I'm sure I should have STP'd, but Gordon Jump (Arthur Carlson) did bad things to Arnold on Different Strokes in a very special episode that The Sports Guy refers to as a benchmark for the Unintentional Comedy Scale. I think there's a fair amount of unintentional comedy on this board, come to think about it.

Y'all keep thinking this. Brady will just keep making the right decisions, managing the game, and winning at the highest percentage rate in NFL history (haven't looked this up, but I assume it has to be . . . except I guess for Roethlisberger, who is what, 13-0?)

I wonder where the closest Arby's is?

Sunset between Gower and Van Ness. I often drive through for lunch (including today) on my way home to walk my dog through the torrential rains.
Mmmmmmm, Arbys.

The Displaced Dog absolutely refuses to walk in the rain. We have epic battles over the point, and he usually wins with the compromise involving an umbrella and aiming off the front porch and into the boxwood. The puppy doesn't have a problem with rain.
On a related topic, I wish Houston would pick a season and stay there. Today high of 78. Hard freeze predicted for Thursday.
