I'm pretty sure he also puts his trash in my cart (that sounds dirty). I rarely see his trash bin out in front of his house.
He's never said anything to me about it, and it took me a while to figure out it was him.
We don't get charged for collection based on volume, so this has no real effect on me, but it bugs me nonetheless. I realize that it's just a territorial instinct (every Friday I think of that Curb episode where a neighbor of Larry's became irate that Larry put an apple core in the neighbor's trash bin), but it also irritates me that he freeloads off my labor of dragging the bins back and forth down my driveway. I have to get my hands dirty and make four trips every collection day, and he never does. In his favor, he doesn't have any fucking windchimes, so I can let this go as just something weird that he does.
So my question is this -- how many of you would find this slightly annoying, and why?

It depends. I know you said that you aren't charged based on volume, but is everybody automatically charged for curb service if they don't use it? Is it possible that you never see a trash can in front of his house because he off-loads his crap on all his neighbors? If that's the case, you have a really good reason to be pissed.

... except if he really wanted to be helpful, he could have offered that I put my recycling in his bin (baybee). Fucking bastard.

Is he hooked up? Maybe he's hinting. Putting his bottles in your bin is more suggestive than the other way.
edited- do you live in California? This isn't Ed Begley, Jr. is it?

Yeah, he's charged anyway - it's bundled with water and sewer service. So he's only a parasite on my labor, not on my cash. I'm not pissed, just mildly bugged by this weird little intrusion.
And Hank, I pray he's not hinting, because THAT would be a weird little intrusion.

Well, if that's the case, I'd probably just let it go. It's not like he's letting his dog shit in your yard or anything.

Especially if he's hinting with something the size of a cranberry juice bottle.

I'd never bring it up. I was simply curious how other people would react.

Why is he getting the benefit of your labor? Doesn't he just carry his stuff to your bin and put it there after you have put it out? Or are you carrying his stuff around somewhere or back and forth or something?

Tattoo
I am in the market for a new tattoo. I want this to go on the underside of my left breasticle. I already have a tattoo on my right hip and a navel piercing so I want this to be small and not visible in a bikini. Ideas for what it should be of?

OUr next door neighbor was putting his kid's dirty diapers in our garbage for weeks.
It was a shock one night to go out and put garbage in the can only to see the diapers. Smelly smelly diapers. I don't know how long it had been going on but I decided that if he did it again, I'd leave them on his doorstep - just as a sort of "hey - these are yours, not mine" type of gesture.
But instead, I take out the garbage in the morning before work - problem solved.
