Nobody Puts French Vintners in a Corner
French winemakers say government should be promoting alcohol abuse, not fighting it.
At least one FB member is actually a French businessman:
Quote:
Gregory Lozinski, a 22-year-old businessman, said he empathizes with winemakers — even though he only drinks about a bottle a week.
"I can understand that the wine industry is anxious," he said. "I'm a partisan of freedom: If you want to get drunk and die of alcohol abuse, that's your problem."

Brooke's penis
I don't think that was a reflection. It's hard to tell because of the way the pic's cropped at the bottom, but I think she's actually kneeling in shallow water, and that's her partially-submerged calf.
Because I'm sure you were all DYING to hear my take on this.

But can the French get German rieslings and gewurtztraminers shipped directly to them?

Jennifer Grey had a breast reduction? I always thought it was a nose job that made her face look so different.

Just like in the first picture, you have to look at her a few times to get passed the nose and notice her breasts.
Then again, I'm one of the few people who thought she was pretty cute post rhinoplasty.

Since Fringey loves the sports talk, let me give my belated thoughts on the BCS, especially the debate over Cal vs. Texas.
Outable info: I am a Cal grad. I loves me the Golden Bears. Big Cal fan. I was upset that Cal didn't get a BCS bowl bid, but what are you going to do, people have their biases and interests, and someone always gets screwed, this year, it just happened to be Cal (and Auburn, and Utah, if you think about it). That said, Cal had every opportunity to prove itself to the nation's coaches and sportswriters, once during the USC game, and more recently against So. Miss. Cal didn't get it done. No one to blame for that. Also--about being robbed of going to the Rose Bowl--I know this may anger a lot of Cal fans, but to me, it really wouldn't have been that great an acheivement this year. They didn't win the Pac 10--they would have gotten there by default. There would have been an asterisk there in my record book. To be a Cal fan is like being a Cubs fan or a Red Sox fan--when Cal gets to the Rose Bowl, I'd prefer them to have earned their way.
I do think Cal should have gotten a BCS bowl bid though, and I have to admire Tedford for sticking by his principles, and not trying to intentionally run up the score just to impress voters. He seems to be an excellent coach, a good teacher, and shit, a good sportsman.
Okay, and now you Stanfurd fans can reply.

Either Cal or Texas was going to get screwed. Neither is getting screwed as bad as Auburn (and I do not think Auburn is one of the top 2 teams).

The Pac 10 and the Rose Bowl had a choice between tradition and money. They both chose money (and with it, continuing relevance).

I thought Stanford discontinued their football program after Elway graduated.

FWIW, Cal had the opportunity to tack on another touchdown in the final minute of the So. Miss game, but Tedford decided not to do so. This may have been what Flinty was referring to.

Well, Pollyanna, looks like your toast landed butter-side up today. Just remember that sentiment next time you ask me "How's it going? Everything good?" and I snap back, "I wasn't talking to you."
